LOL thanks for that. Actually, I'd love to just churn out audio demos. OK OK, and post here. ;)

Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:I was going to PM this to you because it's not... well... good, but I figured it might be useful to others too. I tried and succeeded at only picking traditional orchestral sounds only from Cinematik and within a few minutes had a decent combi and multi-out setup to do this small piece. Forgive the crashes in the wrong place and other nits here and there. There's layered strings, brass, and winds with a lame percussion track - all from Cinematik only: http://storage.tinytoaster.com/STCinematikOrch.mp3
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this Peter! I really appreciate it.
I love what I hear and I'm definitely in! I think I'll also grab the Symphonic Strings pack to complement this. Plus I've got two more... no wait!... three more choices! Sounds like a great deal.
Cheers!

And quite an unnexpected bump when you discover the cutie's a "dude".

Guys, could someone (on a Mac) do me a quick favor and load up the Miroslav Choir patch (the last one the is stretched). Does it crash on you? It keeps crashing the player in both standalone in the AU in Logic for me- just that one patch. Not sure if I have something corrupt or not (then again- I did spend a few hours last night playing every sound in Cinematik).

Thanks

Yep, crashes (freezes at high CPU, to be precise), standalone or plugin. (Win XP)
Otherwise rock-solid.

Edit: Sampletank 2 XT Sounds, Miroslav, Choir, Female Looped, "Female Oh LP STCH".

It crashes (or rather hangs the host) on the lower keys on the PC also.

Can anyone tell me if the Xpansion Tank 2 is compatible with my Receptor 1 Vs. C? I did not see a Receptorized version on Muse's website and don't want to have to run it on my Mac (which is why I bought the Receptor two years ago).

Thanks... I'll buy the Xpansion if it works today! Keep those numbers climbing!

It's the same with the original patch in Miroslav Philharmonik. XP2 Home SP2.

Well, the Xpansion Tank 2 engine is SampleTank 2.5.4; if that runs on your Receptor then it should be OK. I can't tell from a brief look around the Receptor pages.

Thanks! According to the Muse site, the most recent version of SampleTank they have Receptorized is vs. 2.5.2. I wonder if that will do, or if it is even necessary to run it in order to use SampleTank on the Receptor?
