Thanks
Otherwise rock-solid.

@apex14 - Receptor.
v2.5.2 will load the Xpansion Tanks quite happily.
JavaJ - yep, that's a child patch - I've whacked it (well, renamed it) for the moment so that I cannot load it.

Guys, is there any place to download high res covers for each pack. I would like to burn them and make some nice covers for each pack.

I don't know but I will look into it over the weekend. You can just axe a child patch if it gives you trouble.JavaJ wrote:Whew- it wasn't me- but isn't that a child patch- bizarre- Squids/Peter- any word about a fix for this?DarkStar wrote:It's the same with the original patch in Miroslav Philharmonik. Yeah, but this is a problem with the patch from the main SampleTank patch offering- so everyone is going to have this issue (as we have just seen). Seems like a bug to me (yeah, fixable but for those like me who are just starting to learn this synth- it took me posting on the forum to find out it wasn't a newb error but something spankey clean from the factory).
Anyways, I will avoid it.
Need to figure out what my last bank will be- something tells me it will be the vocal one.

will do- I have been going through my laptop to see what sounds I already have within Komplete 5/Dimension Pro (was able to reuse that from my Sonar when I switched over to Mac- now I don't need to worry about normal strings)/Kore Player/etc. Vocals stands out.

Here is a quick jam with several libraries involved:
http://members.dslextreme.com/users/jre ... padjam.mp3
The pad is from Cinematik, layered with some stuff from World music. The hand drum is from World, as is the psaltery. The bowed bass is from Symphony Strings 2. The guitar is my strat through a non-IK product (sorry). It is just a two-chord ambient sort of thing, and I am no pro, but a lot of people mioght do this sort of thing with Sampletank.

You'll probably have five to choose from by Friday. Better start thinking about your fifth.the_grimace wrote:if you get the vocal pack, let me know what you think. im considering that as one of my four when once I get my paycheck this friday
My fifth will be the vocal pack. And I'm thinking Omnisynth 2 for the 6th. I wonder how much overlap there is between the instruments in Omnisynth 2 and other libraries?
Thanks for posting. Just out of curiosity, what is that strat going through? It does sound good.2ndStringer wrote:The guitar is my strat through a non-IK product (sorry).

Bump -a - Cutie!
2138 users!
Just to clarify, I know that barbecutie is a guy. I think he explained it some pages back. Wrll... at least he says he is a guy....
(just kidding)
And barbecutie is doing a great job with the info post. It is really time-consuming to stay up with how many posts per page and all that stuff. So I honor barbecutie with a bump - a- cutie!

And thanks for your help!
BBC - short for: dude with a girlie sounding kvr user name.
PS. I picked up the name Barbecutie from an old Sparks song. Definitely worth checking out. A band before their time.
Get a taste of their sound here (Kimono My House was released in May 1974): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001J1 ... =dm_sp_alb
