Hey, guys, you are very welcome! Say, hey, Squids, I received an email from Allen today, asking me if I purchased the promotion 2 or 3 times. I thought I was purchasing it twice, because I wanted to do so in order to be sure and give the epointz where promised. It may have gone through as a triple buy, rather than the two I ordered. I'm sure Allen saw that and wondered what that dumba$$ is trying to do now.
I really appreciate you guys looking out after our best interests. But if IK wanted to tweak this offer a bit, I'll bet some of would be willing to make more than two purchases..hint..hint.
Also catching some vids on IK regarding the Notion promotion (sorry, that rhyme was too good to pass up. I do a great deal of orchestral writing, and seems as though this would be a great shortcut for those of us who have Miroslav, and would like to hear the music sound better than the light versions offered by Finale and Garritan. I know this is off-topic, but thought I would throw it in for the heck of it.

Saw "Asia" many years ago early on in this second incarnation. It was at the Stone Pony in Jersey. Everyone was there to see Steve HoweSquids wrote: Erik's main job is helping me run Sonic Reality but his side gig is playing in the band Asia - the one with John Payne (there are two Asias now... the original line up and then the one with John Payne who was the lead guy for the last 20 years or whatever). So he does the Geoff Downes parts when they do gigs. I am sure it's fun... somewhat Prog.
Nobody was buying.

Yeah, I am not a fan of that "everyone on the right go wooooo" thing personally.

Wow. Sounds like you should be doing a sample session on the "Wall of Doom" soon...Squids wrote:[Hey speaking of Keith Emerson stories, Erik Norlander who is Sonic Reality's new Managing Director has some himself. He played a gig with Keith once dueling keyboards. That's pretty amazing to me. Well done Erik! It's pretty funny... Anyway, he's a very good keyboard player and he has some cool stories featuring Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman - his two favorites growing up. I am more of a Banks fan myself but I love those guys too. They're also both very very nice and actually most keyboard players are I've found.

Hey Squids
Can you also clarify what bonus sounds will be provided to current ST2 XL users who have no need for the XT version? I remember reading (a post you made) that there would be a special extra bonus for us

Question about Sampletank XT, will i be able to load my old sonik synth 2 sounds and my miroslav samples in it? Is sampletank XT a full version of sampletank minus the sampling capability?
Nevermind...done some more reading and answered my own question.

Yes. And it is not minus anything except the sound library that would come with SampleTank 2XL. It is a full working version of ST.JamieSkeen wrote:Question about Sampletank XT, will i be able to load my old sonik synth 2 sounds and my miroslav samples in it? Thanks Zedd. That is great, probably jump on after the weekend. One hell of a deal. I always wanted the Sampletank UI but not the sounds, I almost got the L version awhile back.

I dunno... If I were you I would spring for the upgrade, when SampleTank 3 comes around, and get the sounds. There are some pretty fantastic instruments in that library. Many of them were also sampled by Sonic Reality.JamieSkeen wrote: I always wanted the Sampletank UI but not the sounds, I almost got the L version awhile back.

I might do that, I was always happy with the sonik synth stuff. For what it is it is great. I still use it almost daily. Thanks for the heads up on sampletank 3 :_)

Hey Guys.
I have joined this GB on the IK site (wanted to use my Jampoints). I have downloaded and installed the Jazz Loops but fail to understand how to use them. Each key only plays a single note not a loop. Were they not installed properly or am I missing something?
Thanks,
Gordon

Full loop on the B0 or B1 note, and then the loop sliced in chronological order up the keyboard from there. Groovy!Beardedone wrote:I have joined this GB on the IK site (wanted to use my Jampoints). And there should be a corresponding MIDI loop. One for every loop.zedd wrote:Full loop on the B0 or B1 note, and then the loop sliced in chronological order up the keyboard from there.
