So I apologize to Sascha ...

Just some thoughts, maybe it's this crazy weather and tornadoes addling my brain, but I wanted to get that out.
No offense, but did it ever occur to you that your posts are often very, very long? I mean that long that I guess I'm not the only one who often does not read a lot of it or sometimes even skip it altogether. Just because of that.
Really no offense, just a friendly thought written down. :)

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Do I have to explain that more is more and less isn't more? At least that's what a few have tried to make me believe. :hihi:

No, this is definitely the first I've heard of me writing long posts.

You know, my father was killed by a short post in an easy-to-read list format. You should be more sensitive to that.

(BTW, a bit off topic, but has anybody had a chance to play the Digitech SC-2 Valve Distortion pedal? I hate Digitech gear, I have for years, but this pedal sounds great. Big surprise.)
Tech21 Trademark Amps sound good period and if it still sounds good then it is good :)

Haven't Tried the Character series yet myself - lotta them to choose from

I have tried the Digitech Hardwire Series SC-2 Valve-Distortion and its good for hitting the front of a pre-amp or amp, less mid-rangey than a TS-808 for example and goes from a relatively clean boost at level full, gain/drive 0-1 to a full-on cascaded 'rock' type amp sound. I didn't buy one as i didn't need it over the other dirt/boost boxes i got - but it was quiet in operation and did a good job, if you were using it on the tweed-like style setting on your trademark 60 then it would do a good job in nailing the amp into saturation. All just my my opinion of course FWIW Cordelia, For the outlay though i would suggest the 'Blackstar Amplification HT-Series HT-Dual' Pedal - if you get chance try one out mate or checkout thier website :)

Dean/Nekro
Hey Dean, thank you for the information. That Blackstar pedal is another on my list. Channel 2 on the Trademark is just a bit too saturated for me. Does the Blackstar do "slightly overdriven Fender" pretty well?
Thanks!
Well obviously i can't say for definate as its subjective, but with the ISF (infinate shape control) which goes from fully anti-clockwise an american type open sound to fully clockwise a classic british mid-range poke ala AC-15 type sound i reckon yeah it would and more Cordelia FWIW my friend, with the dual you get that twice and a boost all-valve running high-voltage so using it infront of the Trademark 60 channel you like the most will give you four sounds essentially and each channel on the HT-Dual has a full tone stack aswell so i can't imagine it not covering your needs for sure From Fender, Boogie, Marshall to Vox it works for me *albeit im using the HT-5 Mini Amp Head but its basically the same thing as the pedal* and then you have all the 'inbetween points' for the £ in my case or $ in yours i can't see you getting more for you money IMHO. And no i do not work for Blackstar Amplification incase anyone thinks im 'selling' :hihi:

No, I dunno. I googled that but didn't understand it even then. All I know now is that your father is dead.

See how easy it is to do nice short posts

What a silly meta-discussion. Let's have a thread specifically to critique each others' posting habits, a moment of KVR introspection :P

Let he who is without foible create the first post.

I strained my foible once, man did that hurt :hihi:
