Thanks very much folks ... :) had a great time! .... my partner took myself and the kids out to a movie, then to a Chinese restaurant, then she kicked me out to go to a folk session and get drunk while having a good twang .... played my banjo in public for the first time ... and got on great! :hihi:

Sounds great but for the drunk part as me and alcohol never became friendly, we met twice and did not get on well at all :ud:
Speaking of Banjo and you may know this all ready, Kentucky has a fairly rich history in Bluegrass music which has a rich history in Scottish and Celtic music.

Cheers guys, better late than never :hihi:
.... went out last night to another session ... this time with the banjo and no bouzouki to fall back on .... really getting the hang of the beast now, but I will not consider myself a banjo player til I can play the 'Dill Pickle Rag' in public with no F-ups! :hihi:

... currently, I'm at about this stage with the tune ...
