I will point out, once again, that just adding a few extra packs would help.

Those three Latin packs (which are usually sold alongside the Slice Loop packs in this GB) will provide more incentive for some of us to join additional times. I will join a third time if this is done. ;-)

I just added those 3 Latin packs (which I already have in REX/RAW format) to DrumCore, and was blown away by how useful they are. I would love to grab the SampleTank versions just to make them even more useful.

I'm a broken record. Sorry about that.

Now you are talking. I too am having a hard time even picking my last one let alone having to consider 5 more packs. Some more variety would help- Latin would definately be a cool option. But I doubt they will add it.

I'm ready to see what Squids has in store for the 15th. I just hope it isn't disappointing.

If we hit 6x1 then all it will take is $250 to get all 30 Xpansion Tanks!
Right now $300 will get you all of them.

I've already scored more than 10gb of samples through this, and I've only gotten a third of the Xpansions on offer so far!

OK, logged in through Internet Explorer... seems my Firefox just messed up with ik's website!!

I am close to joining. I picked the 5 that I will want. I must say that I am offended how cheesy the hiphop construction loop demos are and the imagery behind the covers. SMH.

I dont know whether to laugh at it or think wtf. LOL. I think real hiphop people need to be used to make the demos. They sound like a white guy that doesnt know what hiphop or rap is made them. No offence, but yea they could be better. Arturia did the same thing when they made a so called hiphop vst. Just Terrible. The sounds werent bad from the demos tho.

My 5th (and last pick) was the Down Tempo Electronica construction kit. My 6.5 year old girl loves playing with the other construction kit so i got this one for her.
Can't wait for the 15th.
I am re-working on the Vocal Collection revised presets (to my liking) and will post once all of them are done (and yes, in child preset format).

let me start by saying i'm happy with the drum pack i just scored. there is variety. the left and right hand tom hits are nice.

what i don't understand are the velocity switches. i think there is enough material in the samples to have put together smoother transitions with 3 samples per note. there was no reason i can see to just use a soft and a loud sample and try to blend them. i'd request i get a chance to rework these samples, but that's why i got a commercial drum pack. i'm not a fan of spending an hour adjusting velocity switches until it all blends smoothly. i only do it because i have to do (i guess it wouldn't be a bad paying gig). in the end, i can take advantage of the imap samples and make this set sound the way i want it to

sometimes the room sounds different between samples. sometimes the snare resonance from the toms sounds like a different snare than what's in the kit. on one of the gm kits, there is no roll off of the snare resonance. it's only on the 2nd highest tom.

i was worried i wasn't going to get a completely brushed kit until i got to the paint brush kit.

BTW, i hope no one thought my hip pop demo is from the loops pack or is in any way supposed to resemble hip hop. it's just cheese loving monkeys from the future passed
