BTW, i hope no one thought my hip pop demo is from the loops pack or is in any way supposed to resemble hip hop. it's just cheese loving monkeys from the future passed

And I hope you know that my comments weren't meant as a criticism by any means. I was only surprised that such cheesy sounds even existed in the hip hop pack. I am not very familiar with hip hop, but I'm guessing there those sounds, or something like them, were used on some hip hop record at some point or they wouldn't be in the pack.

But I dunno. Keep the demos coming androidlove, if you feel so inclined. It is fun to listen.

Sounds like that, and MANY other SampleTank sounds, have surely been used in hip hop. I don't have true stats, but from my experiences around the forums and interacting with fans I'd guess hip hop is amongst the top genres - if not THE top genre - for SampleTank use. And to GENTLY skirt around a certain issue brought up while mentioning key SampleTank use in genres, SampleTank is all over Eminem's "8 Mile" soundtrack (especially pianos in this case), FYI.

I thought 5,000 would be the goal for 5x1 at the onset of this deal, to be honest so we're pretty lucky that the powers-that-be have decided on such reasonable goals each time, in my opinion. And those who know me know I do shoot from the hip and speak my mind and don't kiss butt etc, so I'd be up front if I thought we were setting anything but good reachable goals.

I have 5 close friends still "thinking" about buying. But the current 5:1 deal is quite a bit more luring than the 3:1 deal when I talked to them last time, so I think it is time for me, and everyone else, to bump their musician friends in real life and tell about this group buy.
