Squids and eSoundz seem to be really busy these days... and I imagine that the rest of us have learned that our anticipation is usually met with postponement.

It is much easier to try to douse all expectations. Forget that anything is coming and then you'll feel great delight when things are finally available. That's what I try to do.

i am affraid you are right!!!! I think they are busy working on NEW MONEY instead of worring about money they already got from us

...We have never got anything on time from either of these GB's anyway so I dont know why we are surprized....dont worry, as soon as stuff starts to show up everyone will begin to praise the company again..I know it's not much we are waiting for but thats not the point I dont think..

The extra kits will be worth looking at but they will contain nothing that you can't put together yourself with what you have already. They will just be some new combinations of your existing kit pieces.

The Drum Masters manual will be ready when Drum Masters is released which is within days - final stages now.

The USD1 and 2 Bonus on top of a Bonus patches were on me and I am late with them. The person I had helping me with those was out so I took that one over and I am wrapping that up today. That should do her!

By the way, we always have to work for "new money" as new money is also owed to stay in business each day, week, month... so it is a balance always. But there is never a lack of care for after purchase bonuses... as proven by the unannounced extra bonuses after your purchase. So it is never "oh we already got their money forget them". It is more "okay, we're behind on this, who is going to finish that so we can get that at the same time as this other deadline?"

Btw, I haven't been on KVR for a few days. I apologize. I've been on here almost everyday for 9 years straight and just needed a break. I don't have anyone else from SR post on here apart from Allen once in awhile... and our mods who volunteer their time to help. But, I'm back. Gotta catch up! Seems I missed some pages in the current GB thread. Anyway, big picture: Are you happy with what you got?

Exactly, they're just patches. If this was a cake this isn't even the icing on the cake. It's the little blue flower in the corner.

The cake already had some really good icing already. But, still, I AM late. I'd have a better track record if I was less generous with the offerings... kind of a dilemma. We can always try to plan things better. Working on it! This was a big one.

I am so happy with what I got!! My problem is (And this is nobodies fault but my own) is that I am a gear/software slut and am addicted..I have not finished a whole tune in a very long time because of this..I start to work on a song and 5 minutes later I find myself looking for the next great thing...I hope I am not alone in this

These extra hybrid kits won't help that! But they ARE cool. Almost ready with them. At the same time I am finalizing Drum Masters 2 Multitrack with the guys so... a lot happening at once in the Drum Masters 2 world. Also, a session was done yesterday with Carmine Appice for a future title. Although I directed them remotely as it was done in Las Vegas and I am up in Vancouver working with Simon Collins (son of Phil Collins who has a very similar drum kit that I sampled this past weekend and went velocity/alt crazy).

Squids, you can never go too velocity/alt crazy for us drummers that use V-Drums!!! Please continue to "sample everything" to the nth degree!

As for the Sampleconstruct's comment about Software Rehab, I think he's pretty close, however, most of us are not in rehab, but more in the unrepentant "user" phase AKA G.A.S. I'm pretty confident that if Squids didn't get into the sample development biz, he'd be a fellow junkie! Just check out all the gear he owns and how much time he spends on KVR and other boards. It's much more than being about selling stuff, he's as hardcore into this stuff as it gets.
