Well, I try to stay a musician and not become too corporate... and yeah of course I am a fellow sound junky. One of the things that makes Sonic Reality special is that it is a labor of love so there's way more stuff sampled than what would be commercially viable... and that is how I make music too.
By the way, once and for all... G.A.S. stands for?

I think sample libraries can count as "gear". But I collect guitars and stuff too, so there is always something new to buy for the studio.

Zedd, I think we should get a beer. I am staying in downtown Vancouver as well near Chinatown. PM me your number. I don't have a lot of free time but we can try to squeeze something in before I leave.

That's the spirit!!! I want all the juicy details on how this was done. Size, time, number of layers, alts...yes everything!Squids wrote:(son of Phil Collins who has a very similar drum kit that I sampled this past weekend and went velocity/alt crazy).

Two questions:
1. One morning at downloadablesoundz or esoundz I saw an offer for all group buy members to choose about 10 or 12 (don't remember) out of several stereo or multitrack grooves or multitrack kits for a friendly prize.
Can't find the offer anymore...maybe I dreamt:-)or is it really still there??
Was interested to get the grooves.
2. After installing the Sequel and all updates the individual instruments of my MT kits don't show the volume although it is shown in the mixer. Is there anybody with the same "problem"?

I think you may be thinking about the bonuses for the current Group Buy of Xpansion Packs. If you join the GB through eSoundz you get to pick a title from those RAW groove sets.combomhumor wrote:1. Nope. I'm sure that it wasn't the xpansion thing. Like in the two Group buys of the ultimate drum i had to choose ouf of grooves which were in that group buys.

In the USD MT kits the audio levels do not show on the Instruments meters, only on the Mixer channels. (For info, it was the same in the Drum Masters 1 MT kits too).combomhumor wrote:Two questions:

For anyone who was in both the USD1 and USD2 Group Buys, we now have extra bonus MULTI HYBRID kits that use kit pieces from both bundles. It's in your esoundz downoad area. Remember it won't WORK if you don't have both Group Buys.
