Let me know if you have any problems.
Cheers!
EDIT:This version is free for whatever you want to do with it. It is also free to distribute. I will take down the .osm though.

I wonder what I want in here

OMG  Thanks :D :hail:  :harp:

I've downloaded and just tested with one file and it works as desired... except for that the file has double the size desired, but i solved entering half the value required. The file i loaded is a stereo file, may this be the reason?

Thanks again!

This evening i'll do more tests and get here back, see ya!

Juan.

Post

hehe, no worries.
You can change it so it isn't double by deleting a multiply inside the schematic. I had to do that to get it to be the same as the samples number you punch in on my system. Weird!
Anyway if you can't find it(the multipy by 2) and want to make the controls right I can fix it. Just let me know here. Looking forward to hearing your instruments:)
edit:
Probably something we could do would be to automate it. So like it takes waves named 0-127 and converts them in a batch? Might save time.

Hey Nix,
sorry for the delay on the reply, i've got things to do this weekend.

Thanks, you'll hear them soon, i'll let you know.:)

Could' this have an option to create Mono files? I'm loading mono files and i'm getting stereo ones from them.

This would be just great!
I have some free single cicle wave packs downloaded from the web, some with up to 1000 waves, and if i could automate the process i'd be able to use them in a few. Even we could tell Mulab's comunity or even the developer about this tool, i'm sure they will apreciate it. But if it's too much work for you, please feel free to discard this idea, you've already done what i was looking for:D

Thanks again!

Post

I think I need this tool too, so yep, I'll try the automation thing. I'll sort out the mono thing too.
I'll let you know here if it works and up the update.
You're welcome Juan ;)
It's fine to let MuTools peeps know about it and to distribute it.
PS- It seems that linear interpolation is fine. Nearest is steppy, I didn't try the cubic, but I think linear is pretty cool.
I already have the automated loader built, I just copy it from a multisampler I am working on :)

Nice! :D

Very gentle by your side to share such tool. When "released", i'll tell Mulabers about it and you! :)

I would leave the interpolation options as they are now, who knows, maybe someone prefers nearest or cubic, i don't know.

Seya!

It's a great idea for me Juan, thanks.
I have got it working on auto now, just to tidy it up and make GUI. I was talking with my mum about going commercial, and she thinks it's a good idea, so maybe I go back on the free idea, sorry. What I'll do is make a uncrippled demo, and if you want to use it for commercial, it is stipulated you must buy a license. hmm maybe that's what I do, not sure. Anyway, where did you find your single-cycle forms? I have some I can share too. They are created with additive.
I get back to you via pm with it soon, if you'd like to test it for me that would be cool. I just got it working with a 145 sample bank :) Maybe it's free yet, I am not sure, basically it's an SM primitive, so it's not hard to do.
Cheers

Okay ;)
Here is the first beta of the batch processing capability. What you need to do is tell it the paths first. Choose your open and save folders with the dialogs. You need to input filename '1' in both, oh yeah, and the files to be loaded must be named in ascending numbers. Punch in how many files there are, the resampled length, and mono or stereo. Then press load and then save. It should be done. The files will be named 1,2,3....
So what I'm doing is a handshake kinda agreement. If you use this tool commercially(ie. on a sold record or a sampleset), you agree to pay $20 Aus. when I am up and running. It's free for sizing wavetables that aren't going to be sold either as single cycle or in your music.

It ugly, but hopefully it works. Let me know how you get on with it :)
I'll make it a bit more snazzy looking soon.
Cheers!
Oh yeah, and you have a commercial license Juan, 8D
Edit: fixed a mistake that would only let batches of 145 be done. Now it should do as many as you like. Also added normalize option :) It's the download in this post
Edit 2, sorry, another little fix. The download has been updated

Oh, thanks  :D

I've just connected the computer after a full day without electricity (aaagggrrr) :bang: , but tomorrow i'll check the new version and i'll get you back with my thoughts.

Cheers

Cool, you can redownload the one above if you like. It has a fix, there was a limit(145) on how many waves it would do. Also I have added normalize, so you do that in batch as well, less time in the audio editor :)

What Hardware instruments are you sampling Juan Mendoza?
I hope to hear them soon.

OK, I think I can receive payments via PayPal. What I will do is mail you the license statement if you pay for it. My paypal email is nix808 at hotmail dot com . Please try it out to see if it is compatible with your system. Refunds will be subject to usability, so if it doesn't work just get in touch, I can probably refund you :) If there are any problems you can pm me here or catch at my email above.
All updates will be free until a version update. You will get a snazzier GUI and a road tested app before ver 2.
I will keep your email and name as the transaction record, so if you change it let me know and I will update my record.
Cheers
It's $20.00 Australian for the commercial license

Hi nix,

i'm getting errors here :?
I load 300 single cicle waves of various sizes, i configure the input and output directory(this browser should be revised IMO), click load, 300 waves loaded, click save and the program seems to be working until finalizes, but there's no wave in the output directory.

Let me know if u also have this bug!

Some nice ones :D
the intention is to reincarnate those HM machines into Mulab! The first one will be the drummachine i'm developing that includes some 808 909 sine waves and much more. I plan to release it for free for mulab reg users but I still don't know if i can do it like this.

Nix: i'll make a "big thanks to you" note when i release this little monster :D

Post

OK man, sorry. I'll work on getting a better version up today. I'll test the one I upped to start with. Did you configure both folders with the filename '1' ? I'll think about how to change the paths method. Stay tuned' I'll get this working.
Cheers
