The Sounddiver adaption for the Blofeld is updated to version 1.15B11:

I have seen it somewhere, but cannot remember where.

How do you set the Blofeld to Multimode via midi? I seem to recall it is a bank change message other than one of the standard banks or something similar.

Not really. I already checked the manual. On the other side i'm also quite new to the Blofeld and personally i wouldn't mind switching to multimode myself before using it...

At the moment i'm programming patches for the Blofeld. If they will be free or commercial i'll have to discuss with Waldorf or others when they are finished.

I am sure I have seen somewhere, maybe on the mail list before I unsubscribed, that it is a specific bank change message (that is not one of the bank ones).

I'll keep looking and let you know if I find out.

Just found this on the Waldorf site under v1.15 improvements.

"Changing Multi Programs via Bank MSB (CC#0) value 127"

Not had a chance to try it yet.

Tried it out; it is the way to change multi's but not to put it in multi mode unfortunately.

More or less this was what i expected so maybe you'll have to press those SHIFT + MULTI buttons yourself before working...

I have just seen that someone has added a Reaktor ensemble Blofeld controller for cc editable controls (not sysex one).

I guess you talk about this post from the Waldorf user forum:

i got sick of there being no software editor for the blofeld on the mac

UPDATE:
Today the new version 0.8 of the beta version was published:

I checked the update and compared to my favorite Blofeld Editors this one doesn't 100% convince me at the moment. Some things i found:

- no display for the values of the current knob/slider which is really a no go for me
- no real patch management included. At the moment you select the patch on the Blofeld hardware and then load the settings into the editor which you could then save with the DAW
- no graphical display of envelopes and filter response

On the other hand the VST integration seems to work good and the implemented features seem to work quite well too.

I'll try to test this with multiple instances in Ableton Live 8 later.

UPDATE:
I tried to test the VST Editor with different hosts like MiniHost and Ableton Live 8.
With MiniHost the selection for MIDI IN and MIDI OUT works but if i try to use this in Ableton Live 8 i get a message that "The selected device is already used by another application".
This also happens when i use only a single instance of the VST. When i now deactivate "Waldorf Blofeld" as a MIDI input and output in Live it works again.
When i use the Multi Mode in the Blofeld also several instances work now.
