Hello Guys!

I've got a little music studio and some VST Synths (Novation V-Station), but I'm looking for real analog (and cheap^^) power! Well, that's why I'll probably buy ACE. But I really love those acid 303-Basslines and want to know if I can build them in ACE, too ! I don't really like the Audiorealism stuff and it's not important that it sounds 100% like the real thing, cause it can't - it's not the real thing^^
Maybe you can show some of your 303 patches! Daft Punks Da Funk's got a nice line.

Well, hope you could understand me!

Greetings from Germany :)

Would be defintiv doable with ACE, ACE have extrem nice filters, so the typical 303acid filter-sweeps will sounding very nice, and the mapper can be used with some cables as sequencer.

For the gritty 303 stuff you'll want to route VCF1 with plenty of resonance through VCF2 and use VCF2 as a distortion unit. You can then for instance link VCF2 cutoff to VCF1 cutoff ("offset" mode) and have a lot of control over the character.

urs I have a confession to make I am having a bit of an issue programming ACE with the cords, its the first time I have used a semi modular that patches inthis way; do you have or know of any tutorials?

Simple things like the output of an lfo to modulate volume and frequency I cannot seem to muster :?

Aaargh! so simple, so effective.
I always thought Ace sounded too clean and polite for my needs, ending up with adding distorion afterwards. Not anymore!

Great tip!
