you can use $25 since the most you can use is half the price. That is what I did.

I hope we get to the 6 because one of my choices I did not like at all :(

Sure can. Just redeem $25 of them.

EDIT > Woops... I didn't realize your question was already answered above. Yep... using Jam Points for joining this GB a second time just puts this deal through the roof.

After waiting for 6 hours to be able to change my password and log in, it was really worth it. I never knew of or heard of jam points before tonight.

This deal is truly insane now.

Hi guys,

in this promo, do you know what are the packs I might choose, in order to not have redundant sounds/loops from an esoundz' SampleTank previous GB which included several Sonik Capsules (it was 2 years or so ago)? Thank you for your answer, because I'm not sure about joining this GB!

You collect them automatically when you purchase stuff through IK Multimedia and register them. If you have bought anything over the past couple of years from IK, you will have some Jam Points, which you will find on the home page if you are logged in.

I'll give you the answer... but you've got to join!!

The following packs include content from the capsules:

Acoustic Drums 2
Acoustic Guitar Collection 2
Bass Collection 2
Electric Guitar Collection 2

You can look at the contents of each pack by choosing "Read More" and then "Show sound list" to compare the content with what you may have already.

I already had all of the above original collections, and bought them again in this GB just to get the Capsule content. You could do the same in reverse. The original collections had a lot of nice sounds.

Thank you for your answer, zedd, but I have a -noobish?- question: what's the difference between the "original collections" and the Capsule content?

Just different collections of instruments. The Capsules came later, so they have more articulation presets and even some dual-velocity layers and such. In some cases they sound better than stuff from the earlier collections. But make no mistake... there are some good instruments in the early collection. It is really a matter of you having to spend the time to go though the hundreds of instruments and take notes on which ones sound best for you and your type of music.

Thanks a lot for your explanations, zedd!

I am in... can anyone confirm that the Electronic Guitar pack has a good "mute chug" sound? Just one note at a time... That would pretty much be the only reason for me selecting it, hehe

Thanks!

Lets get to 6!

Lot's of mute guitars. Not sure about the "chug".

Gretch Mute 1
Gretch Mute 2
Gretch Mutes 2D
Muted Electric
Mutedelay
Strat Mute Dn 3D
Strat Mute F Dn
Strat Mute M Dn
Strat Mute P Dn
Strat Mute P2
Strat Qk Mute

But let those not be the only reason to select this pack. There are lots of other good instruments in there to make it worth your while.

if you're just after the one guitar sound (there's more guitar in the pack as well), why not get this pack with oodles of analog goodness as a bonus?
