Now i think synth1 would be great with 4-way layer like discovery. And step-sequencer :D

I think we dont need a poll.
I couldn't agree more. :D

Just think of the possibilities of layering 4 existing Synth 1 patches together from all the great banks we have to choose from now. Then you have clever lads who start programming patches to be part of layers and you can see the potential. I'd love to hear what Nolwenn could do with 4 Synth1's. :D

We can do this right now,we could do this from first version.
More important are bug fixes and adding more parameters to LFO and oscillator modifiers to shape new oscillators so we could have more possibilities to create sounds, programming "cloning" inside of synth IMO its just a waste of time after thinking more about this.I was excited about this too but thinking more about this... there are more important things to fix and implement.Yes layers would be cool for lazy guys but its not like its not possible now, just spend extra 2 minutes for cloning synth and assigning midi channels.
I would like to have delay in LFO,so it starts to modify sound after some time, not from the beginning.

imagine that, 8 pings at once :-o
Needs Unison option so that the pings sound fat! :-)

Of course we can but you know what I'm saying. Don't be an ass. Read back and show me where I've ever said this would be my number one wish for Synth 1. What you are describing would best be left to Synth2. I'd be happy if he stopped all work on Synth1 and put that highly skilled programming talent to work on a whole new instrument.

Boy, would I love that feature too!!!

Also thought I'd take a moment to explain my thinking about the possible poll idea. This thread is over 500 posts or so (haven't actually looked in awhile) and there are only about a dozen or so posts with specific add/change requests. Seems to me a poll may help demonstrate to Mr. Toda what features are most requested/desired here on KVR and maybe he could take this info into consideration more easily seeing all the info in one quick glance, than plowing through scores of pages of ramblings. And maybe the requests/suggestions could be listed in English AND Japanese, which would reduce the translation time and related confusion a little. Just a thought!

You're missing the point. You like sharing Synth 1 presets or more precisely you like taking other people's presets and modding them and calling them yours but anyway you should appreciate being able to share layer patches. Say I've got a few dozen 4 Synth Layers saved in Sonar but you have Cubase. Can't share them.

Only Ichiro would know but it seems to me that creating a shell to run multiple instances of a synth that's already finished would be a lot easier than it would be to start adding Osc's and such which again in my opinion would best be left to the hopefully commercial Synth 2 if we ever get so lucky.

But if Synth1 never gets another update I'd still be very grateful and it would still remain firmly ensconced as my number one freeware plugin.

Hello, first of all, THANK YOU Ichiro for making Synth1!!! And another big thank you for all the recent updates (of course, i couldn't believe it when i saw the news here on KVR).

But now a very specific request: i need Synth1 Ver 1.10; since i've installed 1.11, some patches i made aren't working as they used to (i think it has to do with the FM parameter).

I hope one of you guys would share the zip file (the link has been taken off the main site).

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

LOL, ok, here's the link: http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/soft ... h1V110.zip (http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/softsynth/Synth1V110.zip)

I just had to change a 1 by a 0
