5 Stringz Expressions - GilJ
Because this entry deserves to be on top :hihi:

3 Jam in F Minor - mrblitz000
I'm under charm of the mellody and instrumentation at the beginning. I hear some interesting prograssions and arpeggios around 1:40-2:20

2 Waiting Room - objectman
For creative modulation.

1 Freaks Of Nature - Mac of BIOnighT
These hollow percussive sounds are like ticking of the clock. I can't stop wondering how did you achieved them?

Special point goes to Yeager's Marmites. I almost see them running on XVI-th century grassy field. Nice critters, arent they? ;)

Another special point for V'ger for soft, relaxing sound of 'Io'.

There was a folder for StringZ1/StringZ2 presets created by Tattie as far as I remember. Unfortunately it got lost somewhere in depth of this and previous thread ;)

Glad "y' agree" Mac, ... how could we have been so blind as not to see through all this blatantly coded skullduggery going on?

So be careful suckers ...'Gothic Bin Foam' and the 'Meat Eatin Nit' are on to ya!!

You know what they say: if you want to hide something, leave it in plain sight.
These guys are mighty cunning, we've got to watch our backs...

Thanks for the votes!

Dwsel, in the part with the arpeggios you'd mentioned, it mostly goes through the chords of the scale, but uses (mostly) each one as a temporary tonic, with an attached 'viiº' chord.

Here are my votes:
5 Overture From a Marmite Field - Yeager
Holy crap! It's beautiful both musically and technically. You should be there man
3 Deofaropario - James0Tucson
I like the magical feeling. Reminds me of Arcanum by Ben Houge (And that means a lot)
2 Freaks Of Nature - Mac of BIOnighT
Can't stop thinking of Phil Collins. In a good way tho :D I hope it's not insulting, as people at KVR don't like him very much
1 Waiting Room - objectman
There is something very sinister and mysterious about that waiting room. Don't wanna be in there :)

As always it was too hard to place them right. I'm still not sure about it.

Great stuff! ... cheers for the votes Nahkranoth :)

Thanks for the vote, Nahkranoth! :) Collins is OK with me, thanks ;-)

My musical knowledge is little behind, I know :hihi: but after reading how temporary tonic is perceived, how to construct viiº and playing by myself some chords examples I can finally hear it in your song. And now it hears even more interesting and pleasing to my ears :) ...and a bit spooky :o of course :D

Post

Dwsel, i'm of the mind that you can put any diminished chord just about anywhere, any time.

;)
