I can see what you mean about it being out of your normal way, but it still has that rachmiel mood informing the whole thing.
I kept wanting to chop the last bit off each measure to make it in 7, but that's just me.

i'm really glad you liked it, herodotus! :-) i had GREAT fun making this (it's for an online remix contest, uses the provided sample set which consists of sounds i normally would not be drawn to) and thought people would have fun listening to it. as is often the case, the pieces of mine i think people will really like fall flat(test of all). i am hopelessly un-tuned into the group mind-taste when it comes to music! ;-)
