they arent actually Ik multimedia samples, but they are just some samples that site made for USE with sampletank or those other samples. I might try it out. I think i downloaded a free pack from them before of loops. It wasnt all that bad, but I can't recall if it was them or not.

Let us know if they are actually ST compatible. I suppose I could try using the Kontakt version of the free samples, but I'm not sure it will be worth the trouble. And it seems a little fishy with that whole ST/no ST thing.

actually, if they'll ship, you can buy miroslav right now for $99 from long & mcquade (canada). i keep meaning to call them up and see if they ship to the US, i'd imagine they will, but don't really have the money right now.

between this, garritan (~150), EWQL silver (~90 with the 50% off + cost of an ilok) or EWQL gold (~250 with 50% off), plus the cheaper kirk hunter stuff, it's a pretty good time to be looking for orchestral samples.

I know a friend of mine bought the refill cheap from some place in Canada, and they shipped it to norway. I bet this was the place. (been meaning to ask him)

I do have GPO4 and Yellow Tools Symphonic Orchestra, and figured that Miroslav was the next step. In time I will get Kontakt 4, and access some of those Kirk Hunter libs.

Also, anybody who does not have an IK product now has a pretty cheap way to get in on a bunch of Expansion Tanks plus a good crossgrade for XL or other IK products.

Actually, Long and McQuade has all of them on sale for $99 CAD (so cheaper for you American's by a bit- maybe enough to cover some shipping).

Can anyone comment on the ST2XL (or even Sonik Synth 2). How are the sounds in relation to the Xpansion packs?
