isn't this considered donationware as opposed to freeware? or does it not matter?

I used the clean channel on a track (Montauk). All of the channels have their merits, but the clean channel was just what was needed at that moment.

No it's freeware I believe.
You can download without donation as with donationware you can only download after you made a donation.

I'm still having trouble in Reaper.

Any project I use this in will cause an error when I either close Reaper or try to open a new project.

The error message says that Reaper has to shut down and it always lists Revolutionz as the problem.

It works until I close the project. So, I can continue to use it, which is good because it is now my favorite amp sim, but I wish it didn't have this problem.

did you try running it in buggy plugin mode or separate or dedicated process in reaper ?

Reaper has encountered a problem and needs to close.

It is followed by an enourmous amount of technical information.

Reaper has a free trial.
It is a small download.

I had the Poulin Hy Brit amp on the same track as Revolutions, though I had it turned off.
I deleted Hybrit and now I don't get that error message.

It looks like those 2 don't get along well with each other.

whoa . . . played with this little beauty in a clean mode today. Delighted to find such a wide & nice range of tones available with a "clean" setting. Too many amp sims offer distortion and no sublety or real guitar to come through. Really nice, Mr Passion - thanks for your hard work.

Clean sound is really good. My Yamaha has never played so well in clean.

Distorted are very fat and warm. The "Modern" sound is not my cup of tea, but it is very good too.

Gee, thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
I did that withouth realizing there was already an ir loaded in RevZ, but since it sounded too "dry" still for me (can't get accustomed to the "in your face" guitar sound) I added a cab from Speakerphone (love those).

But now I guess I have to play with RevZ cabs, they indeed sound great.
