Do you think video tutorials, and screencast-type videos of me writing guitar tracks would be more useful? Personally, I think a MIDI file without explanation might not be too helpful.

By the way, here's a picture of that last funk rhythm guitar demo's MIDI file:

Yes, please do some video tutorials. I'm still trying to figure out Core Guitar Strawberry Extended. Of course, part of that may be my advanced (and still advancing...) age.

I'm good about reading manuals, but I'm still not getting it very quickly. I'm getting some very nice tones running it through Amplitube 2, though. I just haven't managed to do anything with it that I'd want anyone else to hear. But I haven't given up.

The layer interface is simplified, too, so it'll be easier in that regards.

Thank you so much!! I can't wait to sample an acoustic guitar next, using the same lead and rhythm guitar engines.

By the way, I took the liberty of adding a bunch of new features to the lead guitar engine. As I said before, the layer system is much simpler (and more powerful, it works just like Mind Control does now). The automatic string/fret selection works more realistically, and there not only are new pre-pick samples, but a more advanced script to figure out the when these pick noises should be played. OH, and there's a "repeat last note" keyswitch, for playing fast tremolos from your keyboard.

Is this designed only for the full version of Kontakt or can it be used in the free version as well?

Full version of KONTAKT 2, 3, and 4. The free version will only play it for 30 minutes at a time (trial mode).

My libraries will eventually license the KONTAKT Player. But for now, due to the expensive of this investment, they are only for the full version in order to keep Orange Tree Samples libraries affordable.

Will you be able to hold a chord and repeat it as well? Even for single notes, this will be a great addition to Strawberry! -Perry-

It'll just repeat the very last note. It works pretty well, too.

If I wanted it to repeat the last chord, I would have to re-script the note handler, and also put in controls for strum speed, etc., since you wouldn't want all the notes sounding at exactly the same time.
