It's funny... I've gone by the name Squids so much here people are probably wondering "who the heck is Dave Kerzner?"... so only those that have heard the live version of Joytown even know I also play the "Mighty Wurlitzer".

"Mighty Wurlitzer" I might just kill for that sample, naah too heavy verbage... but I would do something to get the greatest "Mighty Wurlitzer". that and a ES335 with a Twin and I'm in Rock n' roll heaven

Oh that Mighty Wurlitzer sound is just a Wurly through a Vox Wah and a Rotovibe with tons of delay and reverb. I'm doing that sound all over this new record with Simon. In fact, it sometimes sounds like a cross between the THUD live band and Genesis from the 70's... so a bit like Giraffe's Lamb but also Duke and also heavily influenced Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Tears for Fears... and Beatles and Led Zeppelin... all rolled into one pretentious package. But I like IT!
