The installer shows up and i can click until finish but it installs everything in 1sec but it still isn't showing up in SampletankXT 2.5.4 XT.
Did you click "relist" on the Sampletank GUI? The sound list on the plugin doesn't necessarily update unless you click "relist" after launching it.

It shouldn't take long to install. It simply drops the files into your Instruments folder.

Post

Yes i have tried many times now but it doesn't seem like it installs anything.

I will see if it works when i copy them over to the Sampletank instruments folder.

Post

That worked :tu:
I guess i did something weird while installing them so they got screwed up.

Thank for trying to solve this puzzle with me and gave me the idea to copy the instruments folders from the installers into the Sampletank instrument folder.

Don't even hesitate. You've gotta grab it. Two electric guitar collections combined into one, and at this price!!?!?

Some very useful patches, with a lot of different types of guitar. It's a no-brainer if you compose stuff with guitars or use guitar sounds. :-)
Unless you are a guitar player! :)

ESPECIALLY if you are a guitar player! I play guitar (primary instrument) and this is one of my favorite packs ;) :D The "ENO" and "Fripp" patches make it worth it (alone) for me!

Is it as simple as purchasing and registering? Or is there some kind of special promo code (I see people signing their posts with some esoundz referral name, do I need that?) you're supposed to enter during checkout?
When you make your purchase at esoundz - You can earn ePointz by entering the esoundz login name or full name of a friend during the checkout process.

Your ePointz can be used to purchase products that are DOWNLOADABLE from esoundz.com and DownloadableSoundz.com.

The friend you list will also earn ePointz.

Hi all,

This thread has made me finally come into the future and join a forum, first post here! Just want to add my 2 cents....

I'm totally new to Sampletank but loving it already, it's really solid and stable, even with all 16 instruments loaded on my old blackbook 2.4ghz. The best thing about it is how well it works with my roland gk guitar midi system. A lot of other soft synths/samplers (from Kontakt to esx24 to Arturia) are so sensitive they play every little bit of information received from the guitar, one scraped string or noisy fret change and they burst out with these wild noises (which are rarely reproducible or useful) but Sampletank is rock solid. I can almost play the instruments like I'm playing a guitar, which for as bad keyboard player as me is bliss!

I love the Moog pack sounds that came as part of the free xt player, does anyone know if all the other sample/sonik products play the same as Sampletank, is there any difference in the sample engine or just the GUI? If they work as well as Sampletank I'll be purchasing them for sure.

About the sounds, for anyone still deciding...

Acoustic guitars sounds awesome, so useful!
Piano collection ditto!! (I never knew how much I liked acoustic pianos!)
Bass pack- some sweet sounds, some not so useful (for me at least)
Not super impressed with cinematic or vocal collections, they seem a little rushed in production quality, any chance on them being sorted out and a new download made available perhaps? I would feel a little ripped off it wasn't a group buy and they weren't so cheap! But as it is they are pretty cool, some really lush textures can be made using the vocal pack.

ULTRAMEGAbeta!

Welcome! And that was a great first post! :D

I've a Reason user for the most part, but it's HARD to find GOOD acoustic instruments, unless you purchase one of those workstation refills. I'll be honest to say that I almopstgave up on VSTi's all together, but the last couple of years have changed my mind. The quality and playability of some of these collections are ridiculous. You CAN NOT find that in a refill....even the one's from Sonic Reality IMO. They don't sound nearly as good as Sampletank, let alone the EastWest and Vir2 instruments. Don't get me wrong....I LOVE Reason, but I need some authentic sounding instruments in my arsenal.

BTW, how is the instruments that came with STXT2? and the Bonus Collection from eSoundz??? Last but not least, what is the difference between STXT2 and ST3, which may come out later this year??!!! Just asking.

And thanks for the feedback regarding the electric guitar collection. I just had a feeling that it would be hot.
EPhraZe IzReal Music....Ig you need hot beats hit me up.

Thanks Reverend,

Bring on 6x1! I think it's sample ARP for me next! That demo sounded right up my alley...

The engine is the same for all "powered by Sampletank" products (Moog, Tron, Miroslav, Sonik Synth) and all of these libraries can be used with the Sampletank GUI to have one giant library. (The reverse is not true though, each of the ones I listed can only be used with their own library).
There are almost constant deals from both IK and esoundz, so I can't recommend paying full price for any of them (though they are worth it)

I am glad you mentioned this. I have the Vocal and Cinematik as my primary instrument packs. I do feel like they are not up to the highest standards (as I have mentioned in post before). I am going through the Vocal one and adding my own touch to the presets (and will post them in the KVR plug-in Database as that seems to be the best way to do it). But am very glad to hear about the other packs in relation to these. When/If we hit 6x1, I will definatley look at the guitars options for my last pack (who knows- it might make me want to buy in again and get the other packs).

Anyone have any samples of the guitar packs?

we need 48.5 people to sign up per day to make it to 6x1!!!!!!
