A man asked where the flowers were.
Not in Salford, his half-sister's boyfriend implied.
How did the boyfriend's daughter die?
Edit:
Clue: Not as an old slut on junk.

She was shot?
Made this guess.
Posted it and then you've given the answer.
So I was wrong!

Sorry about that other one. I thought I'd better give the answer since I couldn't reply later.
The guy looking for flowers was Pete Seeger. His half-sister lived with Ewan MacColl for a time. Ewan MacColl wrote Dirty Old Town about Salford. He was Kirsty MacColl's father. She died in a diving accident.
A new one:
These pachyderms in glam costumes aren't from French-speaking territory, as one might think. They're actually from chronic town, where you find good stuff. You may be surprised not to find protesters in the streets there. They worry about animals making sibilant noises.
Who are they?

That thing about flowers was a bit of a red herring.cosmonauttransfer wrote:So she wasn't eaten by a Triffid then
BTW, "an old slut on junk" is what Shane MacGowan called her (well, her persona) in "Fairytale of New York".

She may have been diving at the time but it was the speedboat (that was somewhere it shouldn't have been) that hit her that killed her.skipscada wrote:She died in a diving accident.
Not sure why I felt the need to get pedantic over that but...
Anyway, 'Chronic Town'... REM?
edit: hmmm, probably not many atlanta, ga bands bigger than REM...

Elephant, Rhino, Hippo. Not heard of those bands but then I don't get out much. Apparantly Camels are even-toed ungulates from the mammal order Artiodactyla, according to Wikipedia, and the term pachyderms is obsolete. Is wiki right on this.
