hi all

just to let people know that i'll be releasing a new soundset on wednesday 19th may 2010 for the Waldorf Blofeld hardware synthesizer.

The new soundset will be available to purchase via paypal at a cost of £25.99
Below is a link to the product page where a paypal button will be added upon release.
The soundset covers Ambient Chillout,Electro House,Old Skool,Techno and Trance so there's enough in there for everyone..

I would have released it tonight but i need Achim to convert my sysex file to midi so whenever he does that then i'll release it earlier

Also

Work now starts on another soundset for Blofeld but this one will be sample based and i'll be doing the next bank with Boele i think as we talked about it yesterday so that will be good..

convert? hmm did this mean waldorf can convert a blofeld soundset directly to largo?

No, i mean i need to have the sysex file saved as a midi file to load back into Blofeld..Im on Windows 7 and it won't work like it did on XP whereas i play the midi file and all the sounds load into the synth..Windows 7 is SHOITE!

Achim usually does this for me as he's tests Waldorf stuff and is the master of sysex data etc.

Oh i also started another bank for Largo available from Waldorf soon..

Hi Rob,

i use the free editor from Kotró László Lehel for programming patches with the Blofeld:

Works for all features except the new v1.15 features. You could also save single banks or all banks as a sysex file. A feature for saving sysex as midi or midi as sysex is also included in the file menu.
I also got the Sounddiver adaption where i could save midi or sysex files.

For loading midi files into the Blofeld is use the small program "MIDIBar" which comes with the free MidiOX:

In MIDIBar you could choose "Waldorf Blofeld" as the MIDI output.

Hi Ingo

That's the one i did have until it demolished half of my sounds grrrr..it was naming my presets with funny symbols as reported on the Blofeld Bugs List..
I usually just dump the bank into Sonar and let Achim do his magic..

Also with this bank im going to try and duplicate all the sounds to banks A-H so when purchasing the buyer can then load in to any Blofeld bank they prefer so A-H will be identical in the zip file..

I also got the SoundDiver adaption from Achim. With this i made a library of my favorite sounds including the free sounds from Achims page. So i got no "waste" in the Blofelds memory anymore.
When i finished my patches i could sort them like i want with this and then make a midi file of it. The current SoundDiver adaption is also v1.15 compatible.
