Ive got problems installing the add-on presets for aether, also the default options for offline render means it takes about 20 mins to render a project in Live, who do i contact for support?

I don't know about the presets (no problem here), but the rendering time for the better quality settings is normal and seems to get exponentially longer the higher the setting quality is.

I was doing one minute commercials recently and with 3 instances of aether set to one incremental value better on all rendering settings it took 5-10 minutes to render in Nuendo 4.

It takes an age to render at high quality setting. the one really good thing about it though is that it's always worth the wait IMHO! Anyway, it gives me just enough time for a cup of tea and a smoke break so I ain't complaining too loudly!!! )

Also when i use the high quality rendering Live gives me an error "Index error: Failed to open database", its a shame because i would like to hear the difference between the standard and hq settings to see if its worth waiting so long for the render to finish...

anyone know who to email for support on the preset installation issue? cant find any reference to support on the 2c audio site

If render times are too long, reduce the Offline Interpolation setting to "1 - Excellence". This will speed things up significiantly.

If it is still to slow for your needs, lower the Offline Oversampling option too.

We have no known issues with preset expansion installers at this point. If you are experiencing odd behavior, please contact us via email and explain your situation in the greatest detail possible so that we may help figure it out. Thanks.

(BTW, there is an email link in the "Links and Downloads" box on ALL of the 5 product sub-pages.

Email addresses are also found in the documentation and installer dialogs.)

not me.. just the live automating issue..
quite frankly.. the offending parameters aren't tweaked often..
it's strictly a 'safety' issue for building presets using a controller

No! Everything seems to crash Ableton Live 8.1.3 but I've never encountered an error like this. Windows 7 by the way using 32-bit as Ableton is 32-bit!

Yeah ive never seen this error before until rendering my first project with aether, i will contact Ableton support and see what they say about it
