that system works well hey
You can e-mail Allen (at) eSoundz (dot) com to have your redeem code reset... but he may have just finished for the day. You might not get a response until tomorrow morning. But if he is still in the office, you might get a response in 5 minutes or less!!

Hurry.

Cheers Jesse J, and thanks for sharing that. Can you see if there is much overlap between this and Symphonic Strings 2 otherwise?
Best of Sonic Strings pulls together classic Sonic Reality string sessions including ensemble material from "Interactive Strings" as well as previously unreleased stereo solo strings and more.
Another question is.. Do these ensembles contain the instruments spread over the keyboard, or is it ensembles in the sense of several solo instruments?

Really want to make the most of this bonus :)

Thanks for the props on my "long info" post! You guys all helped me figure it all out, so right back at ya'll! :)

I do have a question about the esoundz 'bonus pick' content myself: For the Sonik Capsules I found this link:
http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=277

"Whether you want to load this multi-format library into Battery, Kontakt, EXS24, HALion, NNXT or Sampletank, you'll find it to be one of the best tools for playing realistic drum parts."

The above page also mentions UFO (Universal Format Outputter) is included (note, this is on the full collection page - so I don't expect it to be included as a 'bonus' on this $49.99 deal)

I often use REASON to make quick 'beat tracks' via Redrum OR NNXT (if I have a bit more time.) I'm wondering if I get the Sonik Studio Drums Capsule that I will be able to get it as a Refill? OR is it just for SampleTank?

Having been in on both Drum "Group Buys" earlier this year, of late, I've been "whipping up beats" in Kontakt to get nicer sounds. So, perhaps, I'm just 'wasting my pick' as I have all those great Drum Masters 2 & Ocean Way Drums sounds? :-o

AND, I didn't even see that "Best of Sonic Strings" that Jesse J metioned on page 99 was an option? So many choices! I'll have to join a third time.

Well...actually, becoming a father for the first time in August, maybe I'll have to control myself! Breast pumps & organic cotton diapers are expensive! Dang priorities! :dog:

I downloaded Tron samplepack from the list with no problem. ALready installed and tested.... Great pack! Has some brass sounds that will be great for the jazzy/hip hop vibe I'm going for. Recommended.

Was anyone able to choose any of the following three libraries for their bonus wild card library?

* Studiophonik Prelude sounds part 3: Basses
* Sonic Reality Bonus Disc for SampleTank 2.5
* SampleTank Rare Vintage Collection Vol. 1

There's links to these at the bottom, but there's no way to pick them unless I'm missing something?

Hmm.. I think there's a couple that overlap, but it seems the bonus content is indeed stereo, like a cello named "1CELLOLD1 MN" in Symphony Strings 2 versus "1CELLOLD1 ST" in Sonic Strings. The stereo one sounds better, wider, fatter... But I'd say if you like strings, then get it as your bonus.

I'm testing Squids Rare Instruments vol2 acoustic right now and I LOVE it, there's some gems there!! Not for everyone thou. World-ish stuff, but really cool ones!

So are you guys seeing the Exclusive 1 gigabyte "Wild Card" bonus library featuring previously unreleased ST sounds from SR and more when you make your selections from DownloadableSoundz.com?

That was the original item which got me to join via eSoundz. But Squids hasn't mentioned it in the list of choices...

Thanks for the information! I did choose Best of Sonic Strings as my bonus. The ensembles are good, with Bass, Cello, Viola and Violin ensembles in three different sizes. Btw. I was also happy to discover the Miroslav patches in the XT pack. I got a lot of useful string material for layering here.

Btw, many thanx to Sonic Reality/Esoundz for this great bonus, and the myriad of choices!!

Post

Sorry if this has been asked before, but didn't Squidz mention a special bonus for people that bought from esoundz twice?

I bought in twice. I can't believe how much VFM I've got with this deal (with some carful choices). Sure they aren't kontakt libraries, with keyswitches and all the frills, but as workstation sounds for more mainstream stuff they're awesome. Easy to program and well suited for processing.

People would have killed for this kind of stuff a decade or so ago. We're really lucky nowadays. Everyone can basically get any sound, along with pultec and fairchild emus to process them with 8)

Sorry for the tangent. I guess I'm in a good mood :D
