stk wrote:Wow, what a reception :D Thanks all, and you're welcome (I too use it extensively in pretty much every track I make).
I've been meaning to do this for ages - first the 200's memory leaks, then it became unstable for me when FL9 started supporting multithreaded mixer fx.
Yeah the ET-200 had some quirky behavior for me in FL9 also (If I made sure it always stayed maximized it seemed to work fine). But I kept it because I can't reproduce what it does with anything else. Looking forward to trying the update. Much thanks!

I see I'm not the only one using the old version on a regular basis. Will try this gem tonight! Thanks! :D

You know, I was just thinking about that last night. I could do a M>S mode but that'd kinda defeat the purpose of the straight mono mode (less cpu use). Hmm, plobly just not having it light up would be best?
well, i was thinking along the lines of having mono if both stereo and wide are off, M>S if stereo is off and wide is on, and true stereo if both are on. this sounds kinda quirky tho'

ed. i noticed that with very short delay times modulation (high rate) tends to sound broken, probably 'cause mod rate is coupled with delay time and with short times it goes into audio rate.
"Dont mistake your inability to understand how this happens for it actualy being imposible. " - nollock

Hmm, interesting idea, I'll have a think about it

Yep that is so - I decided to not limit that behavior as I was getting some crazy cool noise with fast mod rates, particularly coupled with the Scatter control and high feedback (and cos one of the things I love about idiosyncratic "vintage" effects is the weird things they do when pushed to extremes).

Wow
This is awesome! I liked the ET-200 very much, but this one is even better! It really surprises me what it can do on the chorus front!
And it's really great for slap backs echoes and wild, saturating feedback orgies of course!

Thank you very, very much! :)

Cheers

Great plug.

Thanks !

well my favorite of yours remains DUbb box... I nailed down the dub sound I like with this one, it's always there as a send now...

hopefully this one will get an update as well! there's a few problems with ableton live, the parameters can't be removed (configure plugin) and the vu-meter parameter casues problems cause it's animated all the time

Post

Hmm, I never thought I really nailed Dubbbox, but if you like it, thanks :)

I will probably take a fresh look at it sometime, although I have a few (delay-based) ideas in the pipeline.

Stk, is there any way to enter your website even for somebody like me (dumb, that is)? I just can't seem to find a way to get in...

It doesn't seem to work with Internet Explorer 8 - I'm fairly sure it used to work with earlier versions, but even using IE 8's compatibility mode you don't get the opening text, and typing HELP does nothing.

It works fine using Google Chrome, from here at least; it's still a bunch of command-line-based fun to get what you want though.
Pithy apothegm goeth here...

IE's javascript parser is buggy as all hell. I'll have a fix for the website sometime soon, in the meantime if there's anything in particular give me a yell :)

Bug: control/automation of "effect mix" is not working in FL Studio. If I try to link it to a controller or record the automation nothing registers. Other knobs seem to work fine.
