Albino3 Crossfade Oscillators

Hi all,

Is it possible to crossfade two oscillators in Albino3?
I want to start a note with osc1 and end it with osc3.

The immense modulation possibilities tell me this is possible but I just can't work it out.

Thanks in advance lads.

Depends on how you want control the crossfade, easiest is to use the two envelopes O1 and O3, e.g. setting O1 to a 2 seconds attack to fade in within 2 sec, while on O3 envelope you have attack of 0 and a decay of 2 seconds to go to a sustain of 0.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply.

This is pretty much what I was doing anyway, and the results were ok.
I was hoping the "slider" could somehow be assigned as a modulation destination... That would be the icing on an already sublime "cake"

No, the slider adjusts the waveform, which is then precomputed. So that the oscillator not has to generate two separate waveforms, but only the resulting one you see on the waveform display.
