1. I don't want to have to load addtional plugins
whether you load them in the amp sim itself or in the host it's still like you are loading additional plug ins and the resources go right up either way.

2. I want to be able to save presets

any decent host enables you to save track presets.
jens wrote:
in addtion it will probably use less ram and can be otherwise opitmized internally
not necessarily, the big amp sims (guitar rig, amplitube etc etc) can use A LOT of resources when you start using effects, the effects in my host use much less cpu

For FX -> like kejaerhaus is pretty much good to me. Simple too!

How do you record gtr?
For ex: Add mono/stereo track, press REC button (red) and press MONITORING button (brown) and in insert activate the plugin???

Wow, surprising me.
Me my self use RevZ for ex in INPUT INSERT. The left in the mixer (f3).
So the record already touch the plugin.
So thats why i said using SEND. Just to get the feel when having record.
Later on put FX when we need in mix process.

We dont need hate each other or use bad word.
Now a days, we hold hand each other to make friends.
Friendship is alive!

Like this RevZ when released, i was thinking to make friend when i decided to be free.

Little thing that i want to share my opinion guys, why amp developer said Bass Mid Treble as EQUALIZER? But in the manual they said, PROTOTYPING the AMP (hardware).
Every amp in the world basically base on FMV (Fender Marshall Vox).
BASS MID TREBLE in the amp is called TONE STACK which mean the processing is in PASSIVE WAY. It is not like EQ hardware console that using ACTIVE way.

TONE STACK and EQ is slightly different!

Correct me if i am wrong

I am in progress next amp!
I am looking some one in my city to help me read the schematic.
Or will contacting my friend that has line 6 amp to understand the Tone Stack and Cab via IMPULSE. Hope find way out

at the same time busy with band too. Arkghhhkkgghh..... like robot doing everything!

Post a link to the schematic and I'll explain what I can.

The new feature in HI MODE?

hey Ronald, I like the additions to the new version but it seems slightly less stable in Cubase 5.1.1 (32bit) on Windows 7 64. I'm getting the occasional crash on exit, especially after 'unfreezing'

I was wondering if you have any plans on updating it to VST2.4? I notice it's 2.3 and Cubase only officially supports 2.4 and up, so maybe that could be something?

I also notice there is no backwards compatibility with version 1 and maybe that would be resolved if it was 2.4?

you are the man!

Samicide: thanx for input, i am trying find way out. Hopefully!

What about focusing Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier

Here is the link

I just wanna know SIGNAL FLOW, big picture/FLOW CHART etc.

Btw i learned already the tone stack calculator, like a Capacitor + resistor become High Pass a.k.a TREBLE etc... Help me a lot to understand what is an AMP!

Very Big Thanx

True. I would say they are two different ways of trying to achieve the same sort of thing - the desired tonal balance. Eq, or frequency equalisation, might originally have been conceived of a way of correcting errors in tone due to imperfections in recording or reproduction - eg due to the presence effect of a cardioid mic. Of course we can and do use them as "special effects" in mixing and setting up amp tones.

Here's the main and alternate signal flow not including the power supply and power amp. It's switched around a lot. There are a few tricky things but it's still your basic tube amp... Any questions?

I can do more detail or better yet start with something simple like the Marshall Master volume. That's what all this stuff is based on anyway. Actually I'm a little surprised to see Sound City style Presence controls but it makes sense because it's not part of the power amp. OTOH they switch all this other stuff around? It's a question..... ?

I hope so too, thanks Ronald.

Hey ronald are your amp sims programmed using circuit simulations like softube or IK, or are they made with waveshapers?

Post

Tried this as looked interesting. Unfortunately in Windows7 (jBridged or not)results in Cubase5 crashing x64/x86 :( not sure why. If I can help ask me as i always need help lol.

Version 1.1 still works in Renoise 2.5, but when often when it gets unloaded, there's an error. Also, closing a 'song' with RevolutionZ and reloading another song can give the same error. Renoise warns to save under a different filename, and quit the app.

It's something abot 'GUI.' I can get the exact wording if needed. It appears that RevolutionZ (1.1 at least) has problems unloading entirely.

futurefields
-> waveshapers. Is it make any different? already RevolutionZ v.1.1?
what do you think?

MFXxx
-> you mean the RevZ problem in that system?

mrblitz000
-> it is like you have some problem with samicide.
I will try my best to find the problem.

TOMG
-> wow nice!
What about if we focus on CHANNEL 1 ?
So in green line.

I already highlight the schematic
http://www.box.net/shared/ci54jnj9ls

#4 -> CAPACITOR + RESISTOR -> HIGH PASS
With (if i am not mistaken) aiken amp website there is a formula to find freq.
250pF Capacitor + 250K Resistor -> around 2500 Hz.
So we find Treble touch in around 2500 Hz.

#5 and # 7 -> will make BASS control.
#5 -> 150K resistor + 0.1 capacitor -> IS LO PASS.
#7 -> 0.1 capacitor + 250K resistor -> is HI PASS.
#5 and #7 with formula in aiken amp -> I CANT FIND THE FREQ.
With the formula result -> below 1 Hz.

and also with #8 and #9 -> MID control.

#10 what kind of gain type???

Thank you for your help
