I'm still confused as to why some people had the option to pick "Best of Sonic Strings" or "Squids Rare Instruments Vol. 2 Acoustic" as their esoundz freebie, because those weren't listed when I redeemed my download last night. I ended up picking the Studiophonik Bass collection, which I'm sure I'll enjoy, but I was really more interested in those other two packs and was a little disappointed. Were those two packs only open to those who joined the group buy twice? If so, I understand and I'll abide by that, but I don't remember seeing anything in this thread or on esoundz explaining this, and that would have influenced my decision as to what packs I picked and how many times I joined.

I hope this doesn't come across as ungrateful, this is a fantastic deal that fits my needs perfectly and the generous extras from esoundz are icing on the cake; I'm just trying to understand what's going on.

Your best bet would be to contact Allen at esoundz (or support at esoundz) directly and he'll sort you out.

I e-mailed to Allen about this and his response was:

Sauli, there was an error in the beginning with the choices that were available. That has been corrected and the list below is the current one.

So, some people got libs they weren't supposed to. Lucky them

But hey, maybe IK doesn't want people to be disappointed about being treated unequally and they announce that "and more" means Best of Sonic Strings and Squids Rare Instruments Vol. 2 Acoustic for everyone

I was lucky to get the Best of Sonic Strings, Its a good lib, but has some overlap with Symphonic Strings 2. However, after I joined a second time, I would be interested to know which options that are available now, before redeeming.. Could you please post the "list below"?

Or is this listed somewhere else and I have missed it?

I was kinda wondering there was so many bonuses to choose from thou...

Too bad the ones I got are not available as a bonus for you guys, but those listed above are great too. I would go for the r.a.w. packs as they work in so many ways with other software, like Stylus RMX (gonna buy it soon). The world grooves specially, I've been toying around with the ST version and it's MIDI quantizing the living s**t out of world loops. heheh.. That would be great to have in other formats too.

I'm tempted to buy this as it seems like a good deal.

What are people's opinions of the sounds? I'm mainly looking for some good synth and piano sounds.

I'm in need of a good piano for live use, would the Paino Collection be a good one to use in your opinion?

Am i the only one to notice that the second time (and presumebly the next other) you join the group buy, you actually "loose " one product:

The deal is now "buy one, get 6".

Sure, but the first one is in fact the ST XT library... Since i already got it from the first buy, i only get 1x5 then...

Any compensation for that or something i misunderstood ??

The first one is NOT the ST XT library. You get one when you choose "Multibox" then the other five show up under "Promotions" - that will get you a full 6x1 deal. Thanks!

aah... that's the reason why i had a multibox icon appearing in the user page. However i didn't select anything and came back to the user profile, but the icon wasn't present anymore ! Only had the promo zone.

Just found the menu link for the multibox in the top menu (after reading your post Peter). now that makes sense. (but that icon dissapearing leads to misundertanding).

Once again thanks Peter for making thinks clearer !
