Only one MIDI channel is working

Hello,
I am piping 5 channels of MIDI from Overture (geniesoft.com) through LoopBE30 to Cantabile Lite. Referring to the following diagram:

I got this layout from someone who has it working on his computer. As shown on the keyboard, multiple notes are being received on the 5 MIDI channels, but only channel 1 is playing and causing sound output. Note that the MIDI In lights are blinking to indicate MIDI is being received. I've been trying to get all 5 channels working for some time now.

I've gone through all of the settings, MIDI, Audio, others, trying various alternatives with no change. What could be wrong?

Solved it, sorta... :hihi:

1. Overture sends 5 tracks of MIDI data, each assigned to a MIDI channel and piped to Cantabile via LoopBE30.
2. Cantabile has 5 synth racks each with a synth assigned to it.
3. Each rack has MIDI from a particular MIDI channel piped to it, configured inside Cantabile.
4. Each synth must be individually configured by its property page/editor, but all were receiving on channel 1 by default, so only one synth was responding.

My current problem is that I can't get them all to respond at the same time. Something about the Aria player that I have to figure out. Trillian is another problem because I can't find a way to assign it to a MIDI channel.

You can pretty much color this case resolved. I routed the audio from each rack to Output instead of routing it to a separate rack which was routed to output. Works just as well.

Thanks for the help. I knew it was something simple.

You can use the channel map midi filter in each rack to accomplish any assignment you need.

You can even multiply or merge any channel combination with this filter.

The only thing I've not figured out yet is how to route midi to plugins supporting more than one midi port... it's always only the first port accessible.
