I was also thinking of a "any 0 synths challenge" - you're not allowed to use any synth at all, but you can add as many fx as you want, as long as they're free. (I'm serious)

It's only May, so I guess we have time for both
Both are nice ideas, actually.

He yea, that's harsh..
Finished doing your civil duties? Respect for taking action on things that matters in the community.
About the e-album, been checking it and it's really neat, nice job with that. Not only a nice memento, but if it can be stuck at the top of threads so that people checking out these comps can easily find and listen to the tracks in the right order that would be great.
I remember discovering these OSCs I searched the old threads and was relieved to find a page with a player neatly listing the entries in order (can't recall who made them), so to have similar with some text and images would be even better.

Ah yes V'ger ... Brain Ovulation was the guy for doing those playlists ... unfortunately, he has disappeared. I have messaged him a couple of times, but no response ... might be worth trying again though, it was a rather cool feature.
As for the political protest, its gonna be an ongoing fight which i will be increasingly active in ... some info here ...

Fighting for anything green is always a worthy cause (except for the incredible Hulk, both films are crap). The same thing is happening a lot here in Italy, too, lots of green being removed to make room for buildings nobody really need, but allow some bastards to make a lot of money...

It's baffling how in democratic western countries and cities, powers simply ignore the majority, the very people and principles they are set to represent. I see it all over. Good luck with the fight.

Sorry to drag things on a bit guys ... gotta go do a gig, and I have some rehearsing and recording to do over the next couple of days ... so I think it will be Monday at the earliest for completing the e-album ... the upside is that you have more time to submit images/pics/ideas for inclusion

No rush, take your time Tattie, just happy if you can find it do these at all really.
But do I take it you can not use mp3 but have to use wav in the app?

Hi V'ger, I dont use wav in the app .... I use the mp3s as sent.
Anyway, working on it now, but not sure how much I'll get done before bedtime ... I'll just keep tapping away at it til it's ready...

So the whole tracks could be included instead of snippets or will the end file still be too huge?tattiemannie wrote:Hi V'ger, I dont use wav in the app .... I use the mp3s as sent.

V'ger, I believe there's a problem with the file you've downloaded or maybe something in your set up - the size of the application is basically that of the sum of the MP3's (the same of the zip file that includes all the tracks, that is) and the tracks are complete (I may have misenderstood you, though)

It's 5.5mb and only plays short bits, so maybe you who were in the competition got the full album and this one was just a demo.
