Reason users Roberto Puricelli (Failed Muso) and Micky Dodds have collaborated to put together a tasty piece of semi-techno-ish electronica toonage using the Hollow Sun Novachord Reason Refill which they have kindly 'donated' for use as an audio demo...

Apart from the drums, it's 100% Reason Novachord - no other instrumentation or sample libraries were harmed in the making of this.

I like the new audio player you're using on your web site as well, very warm, shiny and 'steampunk', just like the synth sounds themselves

Micky & I had a lot of fun putting this together. Initially, we sat down and were resolute that the track should be 100% Novachord. We created the beats tracks by taking the more percussive patches and throwing them through various FX and whilst this worked really well, it just felt like it needed some proper drums. I played Steve the original and his words were, "Can you put a donk on it!"
(he tries ever so hard "2 b dahn wiv da kidz" ) So Micky took it and put the short drum track on. We felt it struck a good balance of the majority of the track being purely Novachord and then the drums come in just to scratch that little itch We're chuffed that so many people are liking it, but full credit to Steve, Dan & Matt for this great library of sounds.
