Great... how do I get it? I bought both Ultimate studio drums I and II groupbuys, and would like to take a look at a manual. i'm too stupid to find it on the esounds website though
Why'd you slice off my hand?

Post

I have the Drum Masters Complete Kits Bundle and the Manual is right there close to the Bonzo Kit....
Well I can't find anything close to the Bonzo kit or anywhere else on my eSoundz download page. Is it up yet for us Group Buy folks?

I got my Multitrack Bonzo Kit upgrade from DM1. It was posted on a Sonic Reality page, but I can't find it anymore. I don't think there was a manual available for download, though. I still haven't seen one, anyway.

EDIT >> Woops. Sorry. I thought this was the DM2 thread.
Somewhere in the background zedd

Hi Squids,

I bought into the second group buy this year and I'm really loving it. It was a steal at the price.

My only regret is that I wasn't around for the first group buy.

I'm just wondering if there's anyway for people who took part in GB 2 but missed out on GB1 to get GB1 now? I'm sure there's a fair few people in GB 2 who would love this.

Thanks

Squids may have something "up his sleeve," but if I remember correctly, OWDs downloadable is going away... or has gone away. And the OWDs part of GB1 was only available for a short time.

But even if I'm correct, there is another GB on the horizon. If you look close you can see it approaching!

And there is always DM2!

DM2? What's that?

Drum Masters 2, all the kits in the two group buys come from this product (except the kits taken from Ocean Way Drums, in the first group buy).

Btw, is there any update still pending for the second group buy?. I'm about to make a backup of all the zip files and I would wait a little if there is some update coming.

Thanks standalone, I will check those out.

General Logic question with GB2 drums, hope this is ok.

I know you can multi out all the drums but you only see one set of midi info on the arrange page.

If I want to convert each drum part from midi to audio (to save processing power) how do I do this for all the individual pieces?

Thanks

I should also say that I've used Stephen Slate drums, Addictive drums and obviously the Ultrabeat drums in Logic.

But so far, the drums in this group buy have been way better than any of those and you get tonnes more stuff at a fraction of the cost.

In my ideal world I would love Squids to merge his company with XLN Audio (addictive drums) so we could benefit from their interface with Squids samples :D

I wonder if SR could release these drums in Addictive Drums format. Can AD do all the things (RR, multi-channel, etc.) that Kontakt can?

(I am just speculating here.)

Post

Hi Reverend, yes Addictive's interface is brilliant. You can actually download a free version from XLN Audio. It works with Groove Monkey midi files too.

Yes, that would be a better compromise if SR's stuff could be used within AD.

I won't hold my breath though:)

There most likely is a much better way than what i am going to describe but i don't know what it is.

the way is to mute everything else except one particular kit piece and then bounce the song down to a high quality audio file. delete the midi for that kit piece, and then repeat. so mute everything in the entire song but the snare, and burn that into an audio file. then delete the midi notes for the snare and paste in a new track the audio file.

kind of a pain in the butt though, which is why i would think there would be something better to do. i don't have logic or the manual in front of me right now though. in case you do figure it out, if you could let me know too...

oh another thing is that if you want on the arrange screen to see the tracks for individual kit pieces, such as the snare or whatnot, go to the mixing board screen and select 'create arrange track for select track' and that will do that. then you can automate only that track + the effects.

again, if i were in front of my logic computer i'd be more specific, but there is an easy way to do it from the screen with the mixing board. i think it is under options but im not sure

Thanks Megadude, I'll give that a try.
