Should also point out to epiphanius (and ionized) that you will also need to register the new copy of ST2 in order to get the 1GB sound set that come with it - and unless you already have ALL of the other "Powered By SampleTank" products (SampleMoog, Miroslav, SampleTron, SS2, etc.) you will definitely want to pick that up as it contains taster samples from each of those PBST titles!

Move the "Instruments" folder to the other drive.
Bring up SampleTank, hit the "Prefs" button, and change the lib "Instruments" path.
When you install new sample libs, it will use this path.
(It's in the manual)

yes, you're right, and I have done that to access all ST engine libraries (ST2.5XL/SS/Stron/Smoog/Miroslav) on a sample library drive.

I expected the XT library installer to read the path info from ST prefs and install the new library to the place the ST engine sees; but the new XT library went to the system drive.
Moving the contents is what the XT library installer is provided for, I believe.

Someone else mentioned a June 15th grace period, does that mean everyone has till that date to buy in? Or does it mean something else?

Also, I have Sampletank2xl, are any of these group-buy sounds already part of that libary, or are they totally different?

Okay... well I was just kidding.

I believe you can continue to buy in until the 15th, even though the GB will be officially over.

I also have ST2XL. There is no overlap with these Xpansion packs, except for the 1GB Bonus Library which has an assortment of instruments from different libraries, including some from ST 2XL.

There was something about being able to register by the 14th and still qualify, but it's not clear. I'd say you'll be safer getting it registered by the official end date of the 6th.

Note also that date of registration with IK is what matters, not the date you buy! You must register your SampleTank XT Multibox purchase on ikmultimedia.com by the deadline in order to get your 7 bonus Xpansion Tanks.

I'm a bit confused still here. Is XpansionTank2 loops = old ReTank loops? Or is it same that with multisample collections (new v2 = extended old v1). Still trying to decide my 8+1 set . Or was the loop packs for extra 1 only the RAW ones and ReTanks just for XPANDMORE offer?
