Well, it certainly makes setting the questions a bloody sight harder; we can either take the "common musical knowledge" approach, or obfuscate to such an extent that, even if people do Google it, it still won't be obvious. I think most people here have taken the latter approach.

I spent a while this morning setting up what I thought was a fiendishly hard question, and when I fed the band names into Google it came up with the answer on the first hit.

Technically, I think you're using the wrong alphabet for the James album, but that was a splendid bit of Googling, even so....

at frank, yeah im not wholly opposed to googling, but on a simple question like this theres no work to do.

the picture ones are much better because even if you have to google to check there is some mind work element going on, or the riddles, anagrams type thing.

Agreed. Although in this case it wasn't a simple question. It was a trick one.

You have to bear in mind that The Fex is a) Evil, and b) in Bangkok. Both of the acts in question were Thai ones - you didn't have a hope in hell without Googling it.
