I agree. 1024 memory locations are not enough to store my favorite patches at the moment... :o :D
Not to speak about some additional polyphony and more sample memory (the set from Jörg Schaaf uses the whole 60 MB...). Sometime in the future it's time to get at least a second Blofeld i guess, maybe a keyboard version this time.

Access Virus
Sylenth1

Nordlead 2x
Absynth5

ACE could get a place at the top ;) But its too limited this time. If it has the features of the Moog Modular V, at least more oscillators etc. I jump in.

Would you say that Absynth 5 is significantly better than 4? I'm considering the current ridiculously cheap upgrade offer from NI, but I'm still not completely decided, because I don't need/want Guitar Rig 4, and Kontakt 4 isn't a high priority either.

The big new thing I can remember is the "aetherizer" effect and the "mutator". The last is something to create new patches based on existing patches. The library has some more presets. Significantly better? Hmm... I would say no ;) But the update was cheap :)

Add to that filter feedback and the supercloud as a filter. Is it worth it? You bet- however, if you make use of superclouds, feedback and the Aetherizer, the CPU hit can get high.
