Kontakt and Drum Masters stM-kit templates (multi-out) for Logic and Pro Tools

These are multi-output templates you can use in Logic 8/9 or Pro Tools 8, if you have the FULL (not only the "Kontakt Player") version of Kontakt.

I cannot guarantee they will work for you, and they surely could have been done slightly differently, as I'm not a pro in this. Yet go ahead and try, these might save some of your time if we are lucky. Un-zip the file and put the template in your Project Templates (Logic) or Session Templates (PT) folder.

The following are multi-output project/session templates for Kontakt 3.5. (or later, I guess).

The Logic version has 12 channels and miditracks, and 4 outputs for Kontakt mixer auxes, if you like to use them for some reason. (By clicking the "H"-button in the Logic Arrange window you can hide the miditracks you don't need.) The PT version has 16 channels and miditracks and 4 Kontakt auxes. (Hide the extra tracks by clicking the small dots in the column on the left of the edit window.)

When you load instruments in Kontakt, the midi channels of them will automatically change for the right one, yet the output channel in the instrument needs to be set manually (it's right there in the instrument itself). Or at least in Kontakt 3.5. you need to do it manually.

The following are multi-output templates for Drum Masters 2 stereomulti (stM) kits in Kontakt.

When you open a new project/session and choose the template, it will load (or try to load) a stM kit from Ultimate Studio Drums "sequell" group buy (a slightly modified Retro Soul GM Kit, to be precise). Change the kit to your favourite stM kit. If the kit does not work as a multiout straight away, click "reset out map" in the mixer section of Kontakt.

This template also uses Ez Player Pro.

Needless to say, only the .logic and .ptt files are included, nothing else, as it would be illegal.
