I've already got it in my secret hidden folder called "XXX" But if you're willing to sign it, why not? :D
You want normal size or an enlargement? :hihi: :hihi:

I'll let you know when Black Light is up, thanks for the interest :)

Cheer for the points Kukla :)

Going through the e-album for OSC Anubis I was thinking why I didn't give him more points for what is a very good track, so maybe my criteria of voting according to what would be a good demo on the dev site needs revising for being too 'commercial'.. ;)

Post

... bit more work done on the Texture e-album ... its all about getting the template ready for now, and the tracks loaded ... I reckon by tomorrow, I'll be ready to install the weblinks and visuals :) ... so contributors/donors, get thinking about how you want to be represented on the e-album.

I'm thinking along the lines of further emulating the physical cd/album experience and having the front cover load first .... no buttons. Right click on it and you have the back cover with the playlist. Right click on that to return to front cover. Left click on either front or back, and it opens up to twice the width ... like a booklet, and there we have the pics, links, play/stop buttons, info etc ... dont think i can manage to do it this time round, but maybe the next one! :)

... Anyway, anymore votes for me to count up??? :)

Post

Thanks V'ger, coming from you it makes me blush   :)

Tattie, the booklet thing sounds like a very nice idea :)

Post

Cheers Mac :) I'm working on the logistics of doing the 'booklet open' thing now! ... only problem I have to overcome is how to keep the tracks moving from one to the next automatically when the booklet scene is closed in favour of the 'front/back cover' view .... perhaps I'm leaning too hard on the game construction techniques and need to look to writing more code ... dunno, it's just that writing code takes longer .. and a lot more learning is required on my part re. code .. but as I type, I think I have found a way around the issue ... :)

Anyway, where were we??? .. yeah ... votes!! :hihi:

Talking about that, does anybody know if OSC tracks have been used as a demo on dev sites???

Nahkranoth, Black Light is available for download http://www.macvibes.com/CDBLACKLIGHTE.html Mind: it is old (I made it 5 years ago) and it is VERY dark (just read the notes and yoll know part of the reason, there's more I didn't write).
Feel free to look around and listen to the excerpts http://www.macvibes.com/MUSICE.html to see if something else grabs your attention, though :)
Not all are available as download, yet - it's a very long process, it'll take me a while :(

How to vote .... You can cast a vote for your fave 5 tracks, in allocations of 10, 7, 5, 3, and 1 points.

Please allocate all your votes in a single post in the following format ...

Track xqy - artistname - 10
Track qzy - artistname - 7
Track xyz - artistname - 5
Track yxz - artistname - 3
Track zxy - artistname - 1

Good question totolitoto .... I feel I should be able to say yes, but I am perhaps remembering some pages Brain Ovulation put together with info on synths alongside a playlist link .... so I'm not sure.

I think theres a reference to OSC, and possibly the winning track of the Gargoyle comp on the Krakli site, and I think there may be a link to a track on the MrAlias download page.

.. I now have all the elements of the texture e-album installed and working together. Just one track to load, and all that I need to add are the images, logos, info and weblinks etc. I'm pretty sure I can pull it all together by the close of the comp ... so dont miss out! ... if you want to have some control over the material included, then get it to me quick!!

I would enjoy voting more without arbitrary points awards.
Its my opinion, give me 26 points to award, and let me hand them out
as I see fit. :-o :hihi: In the meantime, I'll still try it your way,
since Texture is such a wonderful plugin!
Cheers

Read 'em 'n weep, gentlemen! Here be yer votes. Hold back the tears, and forward the bribes, lest ye be edited off of the list.

My criteria are a little different,
since the entries are so good, I give the most points based on
'lack of disapointment'. So when I listened, if I heard something disappointing,
or was disappointed by not hearing something, you got your bony ass bumped
down the list. There was much to like in these songs, they have themes, composition,
transitioning elements, sound design, emotion, and are
8) inspiring 8) (I hope even better versions appear in the future)

Cheers for the votes glockraw :)

Yeah, I was in a bit of a dilemma about the voting system, and not sure if there were enough entries to warrant a freely distributed vote allocation, but perhaps 15 entries is enough for that to work..... I'll pay attention next time :)
