I got:

1 - Cave, but probably not Nick;
2 - The Red Sea, but probably not the Adverts;
3 - Two plasticine men, possibly in France;
4 - Le voyage dans la lune by Georges Méliès;
5 - Cash, but probably not Johnny.

I got sweet f**k all, that's what I got.

What you got? :help:

3. The Tourists?

It was when I found myself looking at the additional tracks on a CD release of a Brotherhood of Man album that I finally had to admit to myself...I have a problem. :cry:

yes and yes (not Nick), maybe need to think where the cave could be.
2 - The Red Sea, but probably not the Adverts;
quite close, not The Adverts
3 - Two plasticine men, possibly in France;
The countries are important
4 - Le voyage dans la lune by Georges Méliès;
well spotted but nothing specifically to do with that movie (say what you see)
5 - Cash, but probably not Johnny.
not Johnny

not really, they're all pretty straight allusions to the relevant album title.

I didn't go the easy route this time, no Zep or Hendrix or anything anyones probably heard of... :D

well, what could the peeps be doing?

maybe i've made it too obscure... I thought somebody would get one or two, google and then see the connection...

clues then:

all albums are by the same band.

US guitar band 80s/90s. No major success though they had a major record deal (not *that* obscure).

think about where the cave could be.

ways of describing the colour of the ocean.

alternate pic for one of the clues (that should give it away):

And you are, totally.

Ah, no you're not.

Well done. :)

Was listening to them yesterday and just felt like getting their name out there again, don't think nearly enough people are aware of them.
