Wasn't really important, just something i had on my mind. I often see people second guessing them selves (I use FLStudio, should i switch for more pro result or may favourite:Doeas any famous producers use xxxx) and in the process they waste a lot of money and time for no reason other than looking cool in the eyes of others.ebow wrote: i'm not sure i understand what you are saying in the second paragraph.......
But on the other hand one should avoid being so stubborn as to not see a "good thing" when/if one materializes. That's more of a life lesson than a DAW lesson i guess.
Only problem is,it affects you too as a user. They waste time updating stuff for no reason that could have been spent elsewhere. Bug hunting, algorithm refinements, new products etc etc.ebow wrote: as for your last paragraph, i guess it sucks to be a developer, huh
Here's one developers not so subtle's opinion on the subject:
[quote"Developer we call X"]In all seriousness, we've decided, in the interests of not going out and kidnapping the first Apple employees we find and forcing them to mine salt for a couple years, that we will forgo releasing anything in 64-bit on the Apple side of things for a little while. Shit is in some serious drama up in that bitch right now, with the massive bloated pile of failsauce that is Logic Audio leading the way, so we're gonna just let sleeping dogs lie for as long as we can.
