Anything in the works for Reason 5?

Starting in June or July we're going to be releasing a new refill for Reason each month through the end of the year. They'll work with both 4 and 5 unless there's something specifically done for 5. I am not sure what the first one will be. Either amazing sounding drum kits with lots of alting or possibly Squids Tron Collection as a refill finally.Rabid wrote:I notice it is due to be released in a few months. I hope that we can look forward some something in Reason similar to StudioPhonik??? I must say that I haven't f'd with any vst/i's in a couple of years, but this IK Group Buy was too ridiculous NOT to join in. For some reason, I don't find that the electric guitars are as playable as the guitars in ST. That is purely my opinion. I was really surprised that Vintage Keys and Sounds of the 60s and 70's refills didn't have any pure Thor patches. I would've liked to hear some thor only emulations, like you did with the latest Reason4 collection (Hip Hop, electronic, Orchetral). Anyway, I'll be on the lookout for those new refills.

This time we're going with all new stuff never previously released in Reason for the most part as opposed to updating the good old Sonic Refills 1-20. That will stay as it is. But, we're gearing up to do some heavy Reason support including more high end instruments. So we'll have things like Studiophonik, high end pianos, drum kits, vintage keyboards and all sorts of really cool stuff coming out on a regular basis. We have a great Reason user following and we want to give them a refreshed new range of cool sounds to use in their music as well as continuing to offer some great bread and butter sounds in the main Sonic Refills, Miroslav Refills and Ultra Refills bundles. We're also putting together some more cool FREE refills as well to come out this Summer. We love SampleTank, we love Kontakt and we love Reason just as much... we also love other formats too and there will hopefully be more cross-format sounds available once the ball starts to roll on this starting with the main formats we support.

Thank you. I trip out on the fact that we can talk to the Big Cheese of SR and you actually give us quick feedback and response. I would say that you and William from Wusik.com are fantastic about that.
So when can we expect Sampletank 3???!!!!!

It'd be ironic if I didn't respond wouldn't it? Thanks. I just can't find anyone I trust enough to accurately represent the company on the forums... although we're lucky we have the additional mod help!
Anyway, there's some great stuff planned for Reason. We're do for a fresh new range of sounds for it in fact so we haven't forgotten. We've done a lot of variety pack sounds for it already so we're going to focus on high end instruments for Reason mainly. One area will be drums with a lot of "alt" hits and velocities. 200-300+ megabyte kits and rex grooves. Plus more synths, more rare instruments (Squids Tron Refill coming) and all sorts of cool stuff!
