I open the rhythm guitar in evolution strawberry, get up a preset, it comes up on the first output in kontakt and everything is good, BUT if change the output, to say, misc.1, and assign misc.1 to plugin outputs 3/4, then when I play a pattern, all I hear is what sounds like hard mutes, no tones, just thumps playing the selected pattern. This is happening in existing projects where kontakt is already inserted and loaded with drums. As far as my testing has gone so far, it doesn't seem to do it in a new project when nothing else is in kontakt. Thanks all!

EDIT: ok, it does have the same problem in a new project, but only if I have drums loaded in kontakt, which causes the faders in the output section to be labeled "Kick" "Snare" etc. As long as the output of evolution rhythm guitar is set on Kick, everything is ok, but if I change it to anything else, just thumps. Oh, and no, I haven't had the left only problem, yet!

Have you come across the other weird one with Kontakt 4.1? The one where Libraries start outputting to only one side of a stereo output. Left as far as I remember the last couple of times it happened. Weird!

Interesting! I'll have to see if I can figure out what's going on with the audio outputs in Kontakt and why that might affect the chords. Are you using K4.1?

After a little more testing, I find that even if evolution rhythm guitar is the only instrument loaded in Kontakt, if you assign the guitar to an output channel other than 1, no tones, just mutes or thumps. If you change the assignment back to channel one, still no tones. Never seen anything like it.

If that happens, try pressing the "Reset Engine" button and see if that fixes it (this button is found in the "Monitor" then "Engine" tabs on the left browser side.

Actually, I think the exclamation mark button at the top right of the interface will do the same thing, resetting the Kontakt engine.

Yep, I'd had the same problem a little while ago and found the same fix.
