Got it! I have demoed z3ta+ quite a few times over the years and looked into buying it last year but after the resession (or in the middle of it) the price went up about £15! So I thought, fuk that!

Now I just bought it for about £20! Oh you beauty!!!

Now where's the serial?

could someone please explain what this Mod does and where do I get it from.

The Virus Z3ta+ is a special collection of patches, samples and skin created by fr4ncesco. As the name implies, the patches, samples and look are designed after a hardware virus synth.

You can get the mod here:

For clear 1.5.3 instructions see page 6 of this thread as the existing install instructions are for previous version of z3ta+. There is also a youtube video link posted.

The virus mod will create a separate, duplicated new vsti based on the z3ta+ engine. Its like magic. 2 synths for one low price.

The one catch is you have to set the Quality under "Options" to 1.0X or higher or the sample fidelity and resolution will be lower and wont sound as intended on each patch. There is a post on how to convert these older patch banks in this thread as well with the z3ta+ v1.4 demo. Maybe someone here was good enough to convert these and could post them.

Also, check out fr4ncesco's "muz3um" expansion. That you can get on Patch Arena.

Muz3um can be added to your existing z3ta+ as its contains extra patches, samples and arps or you can mod out another copy of z3ta+ with those patches loaded and a new fangled skin of your choosing. There are links to those as well in this fine thread.

By the time you download all the banks, mods and skins, get things set up, etc. you will have it! Cakewalk does this as a courtesy to give you time to get everything ready.

LOL, I'm not the only one having problems then, What a headfuck(I wonder if it ** that in the middle of the f**k(like that), anyways I hope it's sorted soon, it's more confusing than Imageline's way of doing it!

The serial arrives via email. It is manually sent so it is not instantaneous. I ordered mine in the evening and it was in my Inbox the next morning.

You can probably go look under your orders in your account. In the details, it might say somehting like "Pending"...if it says that, they haven't gotten around to sending our your serial yet.

Yes, thanks, the order email doesn't mention that - it just arrived, we were posting the same time....It did say pending btw...
