Based on the "blowout"-sale from cakewalk with the z3ta here a little inquiry to you - specially the z3ta-users.

How big is the demand of new soundsets for the z3ta? And how welcome would be a soundset by CFA-Sound for it?
It would be a typical 128er bank, primary focused on trance sounds, secondary on big athmos and pads.

For me personally not easy to decide...
PRO:
- flexible synthesizer
- many users have it

CONTRA:
- a little bit old
- many soundsets for it on the market available

So would be nice if you vote, to help me with the decision, also suggestions are as always very welcome.

Cheers Cyforce

I'm interested, but in more pad/atmosphere stuff, delayed plucks (kinda arksun) and current stabs like those on ummet ozcan sylenth1 soundbank.

I'm not interested in vuvuzelas supersaws...

Trust me, there would be no vuvuzelas sounds in there... i hate this thing.

Btw, what would you prefer? Pure FXB soundset, or a combination of FXB and new waves for the Z3ta?

i would like terribly abrasive hardstyle sounds.

...considering your usual style (as far as I can tell) the market for such Z3ta+ soundsets is pretty much saturated. So instead of a Trance/Techno/Hardstyle set I'd do something else. Perhaps something for Ambient/Drum&Bass/Dubstep. Z3ta+ is a very capable synth and can do so much more than detuning a bunch of saw waves (that's the reason I don't buy such soundsets usually as these sounds can be easily created on your own)...

Yes there are many sets out there for z3ta, but many of them/of the sounds in there, are now not more really up to date.

Also hard to focus which would be the best, if more tech style and also with many hard sounds, or smooth with many evolving fx-pads etc...

Post

Smooth with evolving pads sounds great to me....you know, the softer side of Z3ta.. :)

Teksonik (IIRC) and Brok Landers did some great smooth stuff for z3ta+ already. For DnB there're still the (IMO unbeatable) B-Complex presets...

Else, yes, this synth is capable of so much more. Still I abuse it for preset (pads) use mostly anyway as well.

Do I need another techno pack? Well... Maybe, in style of the competition with a V, but please not as pricey. Else I'm happy with what I have.

If you DO create a Mod Pack however, that'd be on a totally different ballpark. And here I'd love to have an FX pack. (all-purpose-FX for electronic, pop, etc)

btw (OT):
yo loachm... PM oder so?

it will also like my other sets not so pricey like the V, no worry :D

I think, a main focus on smooth sounds(which the most people don't dare the z3ta) combined with also some hard/harsh sounds as little addon - so will be the sound-facette bigger of the set.

Atm i am not defintiv focused on trance. I also olging with a set, which contains primary pads, athmos, drones, spheres etc - all this stuff. Sure for trance would the z3ta good to use etc, but this would be no challenge :D So i realy don't know defintiv what it would be... if i do this.,....

I'm into basslines like Deekline uses in his tracks, I find it very hard to get his sound sometimes, I know you are a very good sound designer but I just don't dig trance...

So maybe modern dance without the trance aspect or a bit of it but cover the lot for a wider audience...

Breaks, D&B, Techno, Dubstep, Bassline, Electro-Bass, Electro House blah blah blah, and maybe a bit of trance...

Just up to date useable sounds that are current... 8)

I would 100% avoid a trance only bank, but if it was less or only 5% of a bank I'd still consider it...

Cyforce, the thing with Pads and Drones might be troublesome and you definitely need to be special to have a sale reason.

Why? Like I said: Teksonik and Brok Landers...
Ton of ambient stuff, pads, stabs, leads, etc. Some of that even out of the box.

IMO there are just too many preset banks available in that section, same with Trance. Like I said, and this is the reason I voted a yes, if you create a "mod pack" and then pads, athmos and FX, I might consider getting that pack - if it's NOT to similar sounding like what's available already.
