May I ask when exactly the price goes "back to normal"?

If it doesn't happen before the 28th of this month then I'm in. :D

Don't forget that Z3ta+ comes with FX versions (I only use the FX1 personally). There's also an FX2 version as well. I can't remember what that one is used for, but I remember it sounded complicated :)

Anyway, load Z3ta+ FX1 in a mixer slot and have fun using the Z3ta+ effects on other synths or sounds. They sound good and don't use much CPU...

You got Chorus, Flanger, Phaser.. WITH sync. Many sync options.. 8)

The same goes for the delay. 3 separate delays, each with 4 selecteable modes and many sync options..

Also distortion, Eq, compression, reverb..

You may find yourself using these even though you may have other, more expensive effects alternatives :)

1 tip: Create your own "empty" effect version preset and save it. The "Initialize" setting doesn't seem to work for the Effects version. Just set all sliders to 0, etc.. and save a preset named "init"or "empty" and always start from that preset :)
Play it by ear

For the record, this was sorted further down after I posted this, I got my serial, it is done manually and sent to your email and then put into your account also...

Z3ta is well worth the no-brainer price, glad I got in on this! :)

could someone please explain what this Mod does and where do I get it from.
The Virus Z3ta+ is a special collection of patches, samples and skin created by fr4ncesco. As the name implies, the patches, samples and look are designed after a hardware virus synth.

Let us know how you make out with it.
cheers for the help, worked out well. 8)

Just a serial number, but you have to log onto your Cakewalk account to find it.
Cool! Thanks for the reply! :-)

Also, to anyone that knows: How well does this synth work with modern equipment, such as multiple cores and Windows 7? Does anyone know? (I always try to future-proof my purchases. :D

Again, Thanks in advance,

For people trying the virus mod and failing try this

Go to your app data shared folder (XP docs/app/data/ blah blah) and move all the z3ta files into the z3ta vst folder so they are next to the dll, Do the same with all the files it installed in program files too.

Now duplicate that folder and do the virus mod, should work perfectly

Why devs ever bother with all that app data crap when the app will look for folders direct in its own folder i don't know
Reaper does exactly the same and all power users automatically change the file structure back to everything in one folder

Any once you copy all the files into one folder like this it is super simple to create new version of z3ta for any add on banks and such you find, which is very very cool
However do remember to install a v1.4 somewhere and update the banks (Maybe somebody has done it and will post em) because the presets sound like pure ass until you turn on oversampling (I always go for 2x on everything, Removes most of the z3ta harshness)
When you update em make sure you still go through the original un updated banks cause some of the uber low quality aliased crap sound frikkin awesome hahaha

Amen to devs dropping all these folders everywhere. It's just a nuisance and cause for confusion, but I guess they feel it looks more 'pro' that way?
