Great, thanks for the update and excellent support for your product(s) :)

Just out of curiosity: Are you planning to release any new synths or effects in the future, Tick?

Post

Yes. My new product is coming up quite nicely, I don't want to talk too much about it until it's there, but if you're interested I gave some hints in this thread.

I also have a new synth planned, although I am wondering if there really is a market for new synths, with so many out there already.

Oh yes there is, and probably there always will be. Look ate u-he ACE for instance, that one sold like crazy when it was released (and probably still does) and it wasn't the first modular..

I guess it's quality over quantity, so it's got to stand out from the (growing) crowd

Since I'm having a problem right with the plug I upgraded from .6 and lost my plugin configuration in a Live project.

The plugin was still there but it was reset to the default.

Is there any way to prevent that or at least give a warning in the release notes?

That's a really bad thing ...

Post

You mean, the default presets that are displayed when the plugin loads ?
You should be able to restore them if you load a previous project and then close Rhino.

Any chance of an update that doesn't make importing sfz a frustrating tedious affair?
Sorry to put it that way but I finally got around to trying it and if I have to do what I think I have to do to stop getting error messages it's not really worth the bother at this point.

Importing sfz is not hard at all. It's better shown by example, just email me one of the onew you're trying to import and I'll show you.

Post

I'll zip one up and e-mail it to you,but
wouldn't it be easier to show by example in the manual?

Also,on the contact page I see no place for sending attachments

Mostly I would like to know.will we see an update that allows Rhino to import SFZ without having to import/reconstruct all the SFZ files from the drive they're already on?

I'll take your example as a use case and update the manual accordingly.
