Hey, I'm starting my day nicely, thanks, Hakey! :)

Thanks for comment - I was definitely thinking about 'going blitz' this time :D My nickname is a short from 'The weasel' (that's how I also spell it). I'm pretty happy that the word I created is not common :P 'Weasel' in my mother language is how I'm called by close friends (nick 'weasel' in my mother language evolved from my first name). 'Dweezil' is a pretty good approximation tho ;)

OK, and now a short review of songs:

Rosemarys_Redheaded_Stepchild by mrblitz000
Well composed, strongly settled in your style, but this time for me it feels a bit unconnected to style and character of this specific vst. I hear some kind of flute on melody line and telephone-like-signal as an inharmonic accompaniment so I couldn't leave it unnoticed :D

The Age of Analog Communication - Mike777
This is one of the songs when I listen to my head goes bouncy and then I walk around humming this sound for the rest of the day :) Composition with a lot of air and space (creative use of metallization and built in delay - different for different parts of the song), non-intrusive drums, a lot of interesting modulations used to build layers of this song.

the allosaurus problem - hivefleet megalon
Something interesting happens at the end of this composition. It would be good as a counting down time jingle for TV show.

Uh Oh ... Here Comes Trouble - Tattiemannie
I love these backing, haunted, echoing sounds around 0:58-1:06 and with bass companion at 2:17-2:29.

Drunkdelia - uiiuiiu
Rhythm and filters fun from the best club in the city ;)

Escape From the Asylum - Mike777
Interesting contrast between parts of the song and melody line that captures my attention.

Flexture - XGmode
These distinct drums, deep bass and attempts to synthesize clean guitar! It sounds for me a lot like Depeche Mode style. I just love textures at the end of the song.

nilbog convert - hivefleet megalon
There is Something (starting from the big "S") in this song...

Out of the Blue into Thin Air - Yeager
Smooth, almost analogue sounding beginning with vibrating rhodes is opening along with chord progressions into pool of more modern sounds.

Sorry that not all of the songs are covered, but these are the ones that warmed my imagination a lot ;)

My votes go to:
The Age of Analog Communication - Mike777 - 10
Out of the Blue into Thin Air - Yeager - 7
Flexture - XGmode - 5
Uh Oh ... Here Comes Trouble - Tattiemannie - 3
the allosaurus problem - hivefleet megalon - 1

1.10. Yeager - Out of the Blue into Thin Air .. (+1 everything)
2.07. Totolitoto - GetT^%nce ................... (+1 solid production, sounds)
3.05. Mike777 - The Age of Analog Communication (+1 the melodies)
4.03. Mac of BIOnighT - Motion ................ (+1 galactic submarine)
5.01. V'ger - Tunguska ........................ (+1 aurora atmo)

Negative thoughts regarding my picks:

1. Resonant arps a bit too loud, maybe?. A bit too static (more automation would be lovely).
2. Still some noticeable muddiness.
3. Random arrangement and some sounds seem to have the end cutout and some few are unpleasantly out of sync.
4. A bit too simple for it's lenght.
5. a bit too repetitive. Some sounds become annoying because of that.

Good luck! :)

That was my intention! Good luck! :)
It would be nice to see more non-contestants vote.

Thanks for the vote, 3ee! :) By the way, "Space Submarine (and a name that right now escapes me)" will be one of my next album in this series, http://www.macvibes.com/spaceadventures/MUSICE.html so I'm glad if I managed to conjure up the atmosphere, even if in another track :)

The jury in my brain (all those voices I keep hearing??) have deliberated for far too long but have finally reached a verdict:

Out of the Blue into Thin Air - Yeager -10
Uh Oh…Here Comes Trouble - Tattiemannie - 7
Flexture - XGmode- 5
GetTarnce - Totolitoto - 3
Motion - Mac_of BIOnight - 1

As usual, it was hard to pick the top 5 and harder to rank those. Thanks, everybody, for all the cool music using Texture. - Batgab

Thanks for the vote, batgab! :) Keep the voices going, sometimes the voices in our head are the only ones that make sense...

Sensationally, the top 3 places are reversed! 'Tarnce' picks up an impressive 27 points and looks a long way ahead of long time leader Tunguska, but an absolutely staggering 44 points out of a possible 50 sees 'Out of the Blue' live up to its name, and claim the top spot with a dozen points to spare!
'Motion' hangs on tight to 4th place despite 'Communication' matching for pace and moving into 5th. 'Flexture' also moves up a place, while 'Drunkdelia' drops to 7th.
No place changes otherwise, but its now very close between 8th and 9th, and its now level at the bottom between 4 tracks ... looks like Dwsel or Hivefleet Megalon will be choosing the synth for OSC19 :)
However, still 1 day and about 14 hours to go!!! :-o :-o :-o :-o
