Yesterday bought this, downloaded, but still havent recieved the serial and its 24 hours passed since i bought. Tried to wrote to support, i get message that such page doesnt exist or something. Weird.

i called cakewalk when i didn't get mine. they sent one right out. the automated one arrived a few hours later

However do remember to install a v1.4 somewhere and update the banks (Maybe somebody has done it and will post em) because the presets sound like pure ass until you turn on oversampling (I always go for 2x on everything, Removes most of the z3ta harshness)

When you go through to do the old program conversions in 1.4, it will save everything to 1.0X quality (which is great too) with exception to the first patch. The first patch gets saved at 2.0X which is what 1.4 lists. Make sure to select 2.0X under "Options" in 1.4 prior to saving the revised bank. If you want to make all the programs 1.0X for consistency, open the revised .fxb in 1.5.3, change the first patch from 2.0X to 1.0X and resave. Now order is restored to the universe once again.

z3ta+ definitely has a vintage digital character to it tonally. Man, it does one hell of filter sweep! Reminds me of the DSS-1.

The original GUI is hard to beat, but nice with a different one for the Virus mod to see the difference.

Here are some other skins at the Cakewalk forum. To change, put them in the Resources folder (replacing the files that's there.

But really impressed with the layout of Z3ta, so easy to understand and edit. Well thought through that, as is the preset system.

to people who had to write email via support to get serial number, could you send me theyr email so i could write? i bought z3ta on friday and today is monday, still havent recieved anything nor can i write using email via theyr website.

I just called Cakewalk and they said that there was a giltch in the server and that they will have my serial number to me today. If you are still waiting, perhaps a call to them will help.
