That would be a job for HALion 4 which is still in the works (haven't seen any release date yet). HALion Sonic is more of a workstation type plugin - basically an updated Hypersonic 2.

I think there's some hope for HALion Sonic as it's developed in-house with backing from Yamaha. The botched attempts like Xphraze and others were collaborations with 3rd party developers which apparently isn't Steinberg's forte.

The problem with HALion 4 is that Kontakt is now a de facto standard. If Steinberg wants to make any real impact it's not going to be enough to bring out a me-too product - HALion 4 has to offer something new and significantly better than Kontakt. That's a pretty tall order.

I need a list of the content,that would be great.I'd like to see what all I'm getting for my coins,I'm sure it's gonna be nice,the audio demo's reveal a nice sounding synth. I'm more interested in certain patches though,so if anyone finds an instrument list, and how many patches,what kind of patches,etc..post it.. I'll be searching as well..
