You can't directly modulate the start/end loop position - we chose a slightly different design which allows you to do something similar and a whole lot more. Simply assign a ramp up LFO to the position knob. You can then adjust the loop end position by modulating the depth of the LFO, and adjust the start loop position by modulating the position of the position knob. You could hook up one perform knob to the position knob and another to the LFO depth, so you can access both from the perform section. (If this was a broader question about the granular capabilities of Alchemy vs this plugin, then AFAIK Alchemys granular synthesis features are at least as capable as any other granular synth out there eg.
